The Classic Edge Shaving Store

I purchased my first Dovo straight razor set in Christmas of 2014 from The Classic Edge. It was a great purchase & I treasure my razor very much. They offered a free honing with my purchase that I never used, until recently! I was very grateful that years later they still honored their free honing service. I highly recommend them especially if you're just starting out with wet shaving.

This is such an unbelievable business. Phil is amazing and you can actually call him with questions and get them answered in order to maintain the products you buy from him for a longer period of time. His honing skills are on a different level which is so key to a great straight razor shave. Love the business, products and owners. 100% have my endorsement.

Simply put, if you’re going to purchase shaving items online, it should be from Classic Edge. I’ll admit that I was a slightly apprehensive buying from the site after seeing so many 5 star reviews. However, these stars are well deserved. The items were shipped shortly after ordering and were packed well. They even threw in a handwritten thank you note. Phil took the time to answer my questions regarding the razor I ordered. And when I wasn’t satisfied with said razor (through no fault of Classic Edge), Phil did whatever he could to make it right. They are very conscientious of how a customer should be treated and their guarantee isn’t just lip service. They stand behind what they sell. In a time where we’re stretching our dollars, the Classic Edge understands this and for that, I will happily recommend them to friends and family.

I recently wrote a 1 star review, after complications with my order and lack of communication. However, after realizing the fault they made I was more then happy with the response they sent. A free couple of shaving cream tubs along with samples of more and a hand written note indicating the mistake. Classic Edge handled this mistake with professionalism and class. Phil is spectacular. I'm a relatively new customer but the quality and professionalism is beyond reproach.I purchased the Classic edge Scuttle and have to say that I am quite impressed with the quality. As well the brushes and accessories for which I truly enjoy.To my surprise, I received many samples of blades and Derby soaps which are very luxurious.I am truly happy to be part of the Classic edge Family.
