Best thing about this place is your experience with fellow clients and some staff and the doctor is 1st class. The downside is that the director is incredibly cheap, bring money to fill up the drink machine as it states milk is not a beverage on the fridge. Considering it's donated you kind of should get a glass. Unlimited creak water and coffee though. The food is also donated which should be given to the needy not the greedy as they are earning enough to feed you properly and hire people trained in culinary institutes. It's a non profit only after the CEO has dragged his big bag of dosh into his vault. Mr Sullivan probably wouldn't approve. And please stop trying to get my mother to donate more, she already gave you $500 when I was in there so you keep mailing her to donate more.

Was a resident at the Toronto and Brooklyn homes, graduated both. Neither worked for addiction. 12 steps is an ineffective way to treat life threatening addiction. It is statistically a failed method. You cannot pray away addiction no more than you can pray away diabetes or schizophrenia. I was finally properly diagnosed and treated appropriately and have been clean and sober 10 years, no thanks to 12 step programs and treatment centres.

Stayed they slept 2019 I learned alot while there the staff is by far the best bunch for me they were very knowledgeable and compassionate and the food omg well I've been sober ever since thanks guys

A total rip off of my money. Counsellors yelling at and provoking clients. Making up allégations based on hearsay to dismiss clients. Impossible to discuss matter with managers never available. A true disappointment. Got played to essentially steal $15,000 for services never delivered

I can tell you for sure that I would not be sober today if it had not been for my stay in Brooklyn. I did the follow up to the program in their aftercare and that was also key to my sobriety . I am sober in spite of a failed marriage and a lot of dramatic life changes. Life isn't always fair but for me to thing that a drink will improve things is not in my mind. One day at a time!

I was fortunate enough to land in Renascent when my addiction to drugs and alcohol got out of control. It took me a couple of times through treatment to 'get it' which translates into Let go and let God". Renascent follows a 12 step based recovery model

Some of the councilors or good, some are not, the dr was actually great, Do not pay the 15 grand it's not worth it, the people that come through OHIP take up all the resources and time of councilors, 15 Gs n I was fed day old bakery goods every saturday and all we did was read the big book and do zoom meetings,

I went here in the summer of 2016 for 28 days which laid the foundation for my recovery. I was open and willing to listen. They have a great program and regiment which helps to form structure. It is 12 step based so that helps to make a natural progression into a 12 step fellowship after you leave so that you can keep going and not relapse. Going to after care really helped me to stay connected until I found a home group and got a sponsor to work the steps. I highly recommend going here.
