Canine Corral pet Grooming and self service dog wash

Brought my cute little pup here after hearing really good reviews from a friend. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. The place was rather small and didn’t seem like it had very good air circulation. My pup came out with a cute cut, and very trimmed in all the important dirty spots. Was overall satisfied with the price I paid because it’s rather inexpensive (even though it was rather odd that the owner did tip herself).However when I got home, I noticed that one of the back paws had a bleeding nail. The owner had not said anything to me when I had left. When I called back, the owner said that she simply forgot because they were so busy. Personally, I know mistakes happen and am very understanding about this. But I am very upset that she did not disclose this to me when I had come to pick up my pup. Bleeding nails make such a big mess, there is no way you simply forget about that, unless it is a regular occurrence on other dogs and you simply forget which dog it happened to. I just think it’s an invalid excuse. There are so many horror stories about things happening to dogs while at groomers, so who knows what else, right?But I definitely agree with the other reviewers, you get what you pay for!

We are visiting for Saskatchewan and ever since someone got her quick she has struggled with groomers even having three people helping. I called last minute and they got us in for a quick trim. When we move out here we now found an amazing grooming studio. It was very clean, well set up, has proper covid precautions and she was able to clip her nails without much objection just by a gentle voice. They have a great connection with animals and i would highly reccomend them. I'm so proud of my little girl.

King did an amazing job. Our rescue has some reactivity with some other dogs and she handled him with ease. She was gentle and took her time letting him get to know her until he was comfortable.She did more than just a nail trim she also shaped his nails using the trimmer. Both the dog and I were impressed with how fast and what a good job she did!

Good place for self-wash. Helpful staff and good value. I can definitely recommend it. I'll be back.

I’m writing this review with a 1 star rating for the reason of my experience and sharing it. I’ve never used their grooming services before but we gave them a try since they can speak Chinese making it easier for my parents to communicate. However, we will not be using their services anymore since our little princess Desi, a 4 pound yorkie, has passed away shortly after picking her up from here. As I mentioned above, I’m only sharing my final experiences and it is up to the readers to take heed of this and make their own decisions. The following is the series of events that took place:Early morning Desi was perky and cheerful as usual. She was extra excited when we told her we are going out for her appointment scheduled for December 6, 2022 at 9:00am. We arrived there and handed her to the owner.At 12:59pm, the owner called and told us that they have finished with her grooming, ready for pick up anytiime.My father arrived at 2:09 P.M. and the owner told us that she will give us a discount because she said that she felt that she didn’t do the best job since Desi kept sitting down. When the owner went to get Desi and hand her over to my father, the owner commented that Desi is very quiet right now, is this normal? My father wasn’t quite sure what to make of it and said maybe she will be better when she gets home.Upon arriving home and Desi seeing me, I knew something was not right. She didn’t have the pep or energy as she normally does. I held her and she was limp and cold, shock and terror ran through my entire body. I immediately took Desi straight to VCA on 4th street NW where she was pronounced dead. After the cremation service and bills were paid, the time stamp on my receipt was 3:46pm.I went back to the groomers to ask if there was anything unusual at all but they were closed. I tried for the next couple days but they were still closed. Finally on Friday December 9th they were open and I got was able to go ask. The owner told us that there was nothing unusual and they did what they normally do, shower, blow dry almost half try and then they will put them in a kennel that blows air to try them completely off, then groom, then back into the kennel with a towel to wait for pick up. We asked if there were any abusing and the answer was “I am Christian so I don’t lie, I never did anything like those things.” After we had asked our questions, she said “I will definitely change our ways for so that this kind of mistake won’t happen in the future.” After saying that they will change their mistakes several times, I questioned, what kind of mistake? What is not being told? However, there was another customer there and the owner started explaining to the other customer and defending herself.I knew we weren’t getting any answers to what happened to our little princess so instead of making a scene we decided to leave. We only wanted to know the cause, reason, or an explanation to have some closure. Not once did we speak of any compensation, that’s not what we wanted. So again, regardless of what any other readers of my review decides to do, that’s up to them. I would pray and hope this would NEVER happen to anyone else resulting in the loss of their loved ones.

This place is terrible. You can’t see the area where they are getting groomed which is never good. It Just seems so Closed off and cold. I should have left when I first got there and went with my gut but I needed him done before my trip.My dogs hair was so uneven and he just looks odd. Missing spots and shaved some places and others weren’t even touched. Hack job!! They had him for over 3 hours so I thought he would look beautiful. He had a huge scratch/cut that scabbed over which means it was bleeding at some point but I didn’t notice till I got back . Never ever again! Now I have to pay again to get it done properly. Big mistake!

I took my two dogs the first time there and everything was good...I don't know if she was the owner but the lady who was there was friendly and explained everything to me...she cleaned right away after another customer was done. You can see where the dogs get groomed because there is a big window at the wash station and I watched the lady once in a while and she was friendly and kind to every dog when I was there. I just give 3 stars because it could looks a bit nicer from the inside and outside and I had trouble finding the place because its far in the corner

I went there with my stepdaughter and her dog at 315 they close at 4. The lady there said she was closing early so she could pick up a cake. Ask if I could wash my dog fast and she said no. Not very happy with there customer service. If your going close early let your customers know. They lost a customer who have 2 dogs.

Amazing! The lady gave us everything we needed to wash our dogs and for a great price. Also very very nice lady

She did a great job and was very good with my senior dog. He looked so cute with his new haircut.
