A one-star rating is entirely too good. I placed an order on October 18 and received no follow up. I called on October 24 and only got voicemail, no one returned my call. I called him on October 30. and receive voicemail, no one returned my call. October 30 I sent an email, no response. On October 31 I sent a second email canceling my order. No response; however, they did charge my card.

Placed online order on April 21. Called them on the 28th for an update and was told that 2 of the 5 items ordered were available and 3 had to be ordered. Told it would probably be another 2 or 3 weeks since supply lines everywhere have been delayed. I totally get that. What I don’t get is why, when I placed the order, was I not notified that only 2 of the 5 items were in the store and 3 had to be ordered? This would have given me the option to decide whether I wanted to continue and wait, or cancel the order. The 2 or 3 weeks are long over. Since the 28th of April, I have made 4 additional phone calls, only to reach a machine that tells me to leave my detailed information and my call will be returned the following business day. I have received no return calls nor any emails telling me my order has shipped. I don’t know why these people won’t communicate but this morning I left a message ( again) and told her to cancel the order since they refuse to communicate with me. If they have no intention of filling your order, or providing updates, or returning phone calls, then they need to change the phone message to “sorry, we don’t care why you’re calling so don’t bother to leave any information.” Why have a message if they intend to ignore your call? I understand the issues with supplies everywhere being short, and shipping times being slower. Their website even states this, that there may be long delays, etc. I get it. That is not the issue. The issue is that no one has the courtesy to send me an email or return a phone call and simply give me the status of an order placed over a month ago. The 2-3 week delay in obtaining the 3 items that had to be ordered has long passed. I asked in one call would she please let me know which 2 she had, and maybe I would have just taken those 2 and cancelled the others. But as usual, I got no response. I have read numerous negative reviews from people with similar issues, and I have also read glowing 5- star reviews. Why do we have such different experiences? Luckily my credit card hasn’t been charged yet, but I can’t even let these people know to cancel the order completely because they refuse to communicate. Next step, write a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. There are plenty there already.

I ordered a chart on August 9, 2019. It was not on back order or, not in stock. They took my money and here it is, September 11, 2019. I left a message over 2 weeks ago to no avail. I have submitted my complaint as well to the BBB handling a lot of the same complaints from this company. I have never had a problem with any of my stitching sites. This is a first and for them to not even call the next day like they said they would is just unacceptable. I should have read the reviews. They only reason they are getting one star from me is to submit my complaint.

Placed an order for a chart in June, sent multiple emails to check on status with no updates. Finally called & was told that they were waiting for shipment & that my order had been placed. This store and the company they ordered from are in my state. Finally, after the same run around every month I cancelled my order in October & ordered from a shop in a nearby state. It arrived in less than a week. I will never shop here again.

I ordered a chart, Dec. 15, 2018, paid for via PayPal (which did debit my bank account for the purchase), sent a follow-up email on Jan. 5, and have still heard nothing! I would love to receive the chart as ordered and would appreciate some sort of communication regarding the status of the order! If it is no longer available, please just let me know and credit my funds. Thanks!

DO NOT ORDER ONLINE: Same issue. Ordered online. Received a run around. After three weeks, order not shipped and communication stopped. The Michigan DA should seriously investigate this business for online fraud simply for the amount of times people have been scammed out of their money... and that is just from reading these reviews here! There are more elsewhere. Shameful.

I have to agree with some of the other reviewers here. I placed two orders - one in September 2018 and another in October. While the majority of items that I ordered were shipped right away and I was very happy with them, the back ordered items are still outstanding. I have sent emails begging for an update on the floss, chart, and pins that I am owed with no response. The lack of communication is very frustrating. It makes me wonder if they are going out of business or something? In the future, i will use a different company.

Very Disappointed! Place an order back in Feb. 2018 and it took 3 months to receive only part of my order (though it was paid for in full). It's now October and I still haven't received the rest of my order or a refund. -I've been more than patient for 8 Months. This is ridiculous. Have tried e-mailing and phoning with no response. They shouldn't be accepting payment for items they don't have!

I've been using Stitching Bits and Bobs since about 2005.Ive never placed an order online, but calledthem over the phone to place my orders.If anything was on back order, they would call me to let me know and if I wanted to wait on the back order then have everything shipped to me.Or ship what they had then let me know when my back order came in.They were very nice and cordial to me.Ive been very happy doing business with them.This is the only company I've ordered from and will continue to do so.

Terrible customer service! Order was not fulliled in a timely manner. I contacted the shop to find out where my order was and I was told they were waiting on one item to complete the order. I requested the order be ship without that item. I was told it would taken care of. Still no order. I contacted them again and was told the order was now complete and would ship. Another week passes with no shipping of the order. I see this exact issue was posted on the BBB by another customer. Beware!
