After months of being curious, we finally tried Snuffy's. We weren't sure what to expect.As a family of 5, we ordered the family platter for pick-up. We were curious with their Greek fries and requested to replace the potatoes with this one. The owner, without hesitation, accommodated. I think his name is Kamal.When I picked up the food, he was generous to throw in some drinks. He didn't have to do that, and we really appreciated the kind gesture.The food is fresh and very tasty. If there is one complaint, I would suggest to make the chicken and pork a little more juicy. Don't get me wrong, it's not dry, but a little more juiciness would be nice. Overall, the rice, meat, fries, salad, pita are all delicious!The portion is generous too. Enough to make 5 adults full!Although we ordered for pick-up, when I got to the restaurant, I noticed it's clean and tidy, and I didn't smell like food when I left, which means they have good ventilation.We will definitely come back for these reasons:1) Good food and portion2) Reasonably priced items3) Clean and tidy place4) Great ownerIf you're on the fence about this restaurant, I suggest you give it a shot. I don't think you'd be disappointed.

We had a great time chatting with the owners at the restaurant and enjoyed the food. The portions and prices are great. The flavours are amazing. Will definitely be going back regularly.

Snuffy's Grill
This place is awesome! I've been coming here since I was in high school (so for a few years now). I recently tried some of the items they had to offer since the change in management and it hasn't changed one bit. It's still as awesome as it was! I adore the Veggie pita and the Bruschetta, they're both extremely flavourful! Will definitely be coming back to support this awesome business.

I'm from Downtown Toronto, and believe it or not, this is one of the best Gyro's I've had, ESPECCIALLY for the price! I got a mixed meat gyro, the fries were breaded and crunchy, the sauce was thick and oh man, it was just the perfect combo. It definitely hits the spot. Whenever I'm in the area, i come out of my way for this treat. Plus the staff is very customer service oriented, remember you and most of all, they're very quick!

Just discovered Snuffy's and ordered the chicken souvalki and the Greek wings. As we waited we noticed everything is cooked to order which is a good thing as we knew it would be fresh. A very generous serving of chicken which was very well spiced and the lemon rice was delicious. The Greek salad was fresh with lettuce and green peppers and tomatoes and just the right amount of slivered red onion. The feta cheese is obviously good quality as is the tatziki. The dressing was served on the side which is preferred if you are ordering take out. The Greek wings were tasty and served with fries. Friendly service and with the amount of phone orders that were coming in and the walk in customers was a very good experience. I recommend Snuffy's and can't wait to try the other items on the menu. I also noticed that they cater at a very decent price.

Edit: Owner reached out to us, and offered one free meal on the house. Portion size was larger, and the food was good once again. Initial review was a 2, but bumping it up due to good customer service. May go back again to try something else.Just purchased today, and must say, highly disappointed with the amount of meat that comes with the meal. Both the wife and I were very surprised by how little meat they come with. For the price you pay, I honestly can not recommend or justify that price for mostly rice and salad. Gyro was decent, but again, small. I don't know if it's due to cutbacks, but was very very let down. Can't recommend, and won't be going back unless I hear word that they have changed.

This is a nice spot. I got a chicken souvlaki pita and it tasted pretty good! Bonus points to the owner for giving me a freezie for free on top it.I'll be coming back here again for sure.

Good food good prices! What more can I say, little odd that they had green bell pepper in the salad but I didn’t mind that. The chicken gyro was legit, I think it was like two for $20 or something with a salad it was reasonable.. def try it out.

Dry, bland & flavorless sums up our experience at Snuffy's this evening. I'm not sure why this place is considered the best in Durham because it was a huge disappointment. My husband & I ordered the chicken souvlaki platter & the pork souvlaki platter. Both the chicken & pork were incredibly dry & poorly seasoned. The potatoes were incredibly dry & bland as well & the rice was totally flavorless & did I mention DRY? Even the pita bread was dry & flavorless. We really wanted to like this place as we've been searching for a good Greek place but unfortunately this is not it.Service was friendly & quick. The restaurant itself was charming but unfortunately the food was pretty terrible. We definitely will not be back & do not recommend it at all. Too bad! We had high hopes. The search for great Greek food in Durham continues.

Great food and incredibly kind staff! They even brought a water bottle to our table for free since it was such a hot day! Would recommend to anyone!
