Penske Truck Rental

The employees here are great, they are extremely helpful and have the trucks ready consistently.

A: Penske didn't clear the top of the truck off. From what I'm told by an angry driver, snow flew off after we'd picked the truck up (and didn't have the implements to clear it).B: The other party (who had snow land on them) called Penske, angry with us for damaging their vehicle. Penske decided the best course of action was to GIVE OUT OUR CONTACT INFORMATION. COMPLETE lack of privacy.Trucks sent off site should be COMPLETELY ready for use.Personal information given to Penske IS NOT to be randomly handed out to strangers.Who knows if this is legitimate? What if this was a stalker? ABSOLUTELY unacceptable for them not to be the intermediary on this transaction.UPDATE: I called the number left by Penske in this reply, and was given the SAME NUMBER I'D ALREADY CALLED for this particular location. How is this to help me? The people who already gave out my contact information to an angry man who called yelling twice and NOW has come to our location physically?? This should have been handled immediately if an issue was there by the Penske Insurance we paid for. Outrageous lack of service and complete disrespect of privacy.

We had a wonderful experience with Penske Truck Rental in Cambridge during our move in August 2020. We had actually originally booked with UHAUL but they left us hanging the day before our move with no truck available. We called every truck rental company in Waterloo Region and Penske was the only one who even offered to put us on a wait list. They called back a few hours later saying a truck was available. We dealt with Will and he was exceptional - he totally went above and beyond to ensure we had a smooth moving experience. I would highly recommend Penske in Cambridge and we will definitely book with them again next time we need a truck. Thank you Penske and Will!

Easy to book, easy to pick up. Couldn't find the after hours key drop, but found an employee to take the key. Truck ran well and was in decent shape.

Jay Whitson was a great help when there was a bit of a mix up with our reservation.We needed a larger truck, and at the time of pick up they were all booked. Jay tried to find us a alternate solution, after 20 minutes of calling around, one could not be found.Jay and his staff hooked me a up with a unit from their fleet that was able to do the job, and get me out of a bind that otherwise would have been very costly.The kind of service that they provided to me was exceptional, and very appreciated.more companies should take note, this is what customer service is all about.Thank you Jay, The next time I need a truck I will be back, and if any body needs a unit I highly recommend Penske truck rentals in Cambridge.Very nice people to deal with.Thank youBest RegardsDave

I had requirements of moving my household from Kitchener, Ontario to Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. I rented a late-model 26 ft truck from Penske at this location and my entire house fit into the space. The equipment worked flawlessly for a 3700 km round trip. The equipment was clean and well maintained. It made a very difficult process and experience much easier than I expected. And overall, I saved myself about $11,000 in moving fees.
