What a great outfit. I bought a fridge from them and it wasn't working properly. I thought I was outside the service area and would have to pay for a service call. But NO! Covered under warranty. NO CHARGE. Love my fridge. Great products, great price, great service and an ethical company. What more can you ask for?

1. They dropped off a fridge with a hole in the side, covered in scuffs and dents, with a sticky ring around the door seal and reeking like chlorine and rotten food. We asked for a new one, they agreed to send one, then made excuses about supply issues" for three weeks.2. We finally realized the gross holey fridge wasn't working properly after 3 new bags of milk went off

I bought a fridge from them a few months ago and it was leaking water from the freezer into the fridge. They sent a technician to fix it but it didn't solve the problem. I called them again and they sent the same technician who attempted to fix it, but again it was not fixed. Furthermore, they left my freezer turned off and I had to throw out about $100 of frozen food. I called to complain and they said they would call back but never did. Finally, I called again and they promised to send another more experienced technician, however after waiting a week for them to get back to me they sent the same technician to fix it and I have serious doubts that the problem is solved. Now I am trying to move and need to get rid of it but can't sell it because I cannot sell something broken with a clear conscience. I called and asked if I could at least transfer the warranty but they refused and were extremely rude. Do not recommend.

I bought a refrigerator from them and had a problem with it about 9 months later. Not only were they quick to send a service technician out but when it was determined that the compressor was shot, they replaced the fridge at no cost whatsoever. Very impressed with their friendliness and great service. I will definitely deal with them again and recommend them to friends and family!

I would like to thank this store. We moved into a house that needed all the appliances replaced. We got a wonderful convection oven, washer and dryer. The store was not only helpful and reasonable with prices they answered all questions and gave us very quick delivery. They made sure we were set up quickly and best of all at a great bargain. I would have no hesitation whatsoever recommending them and would encourage anyone to try these guys out. They took a stressful situation and made our lives much more comfortable! Not only that they offer a year warranty free of charge with all their appliances! Thank you very much!

I purchased a refrigerator from your store last week for an elderly gentleman. I congratulate the staff in the store for their patience and help, as I conversed with the gentleman by phone. With the heLP go the staff I made the purchase and arranged delivery without any hassles.I can only say good things about the two gentlemen that made the delivery of the fridge, they arrived on time as per our phone call and were so kind and considerate of the older gentleman’s concerns and frustration.They did every thing in their power to satisfy and show respect. Upon removing the old fridge water spilled on the kitchen floor and the hallway. They wiped up all the water and dried and cleaned the floor before leaving.It’s rare to find two young gentlemen that show such respect and consideration for other people. They are definitely an asset to the appliance store.

I just had a couple of guys deliver a dryer to me at 24 Burns Circle, from Barrie Discount Appliances. I could not be happier with the experience. The guys were extremely professional and took their job seriously. I want to send out a special thanks to the driver who displayed everything customer service should be. His helper was obviously inexperienced, but took the great direction from the driver very well. The helper was as professional as anyone could be with little or no experience.If every shopping/buying/retail, and work experience was as pleasant as that, we'd all be happier. I could keep writing, cause I honestly don't think I could run out of great things to say. Lastly, I want to point out that the driver was young, and looked like a person who loves to party. I did not judge him, and will now praise him. I point out his appearance because I am a black man who knows all too well about being judged unfairly. He was an excellent employee who represented himself and his company in the highest regard. I could care less what he does with his time, and that's the point. Let's all stop pre-judging people based on appearance and recognize a great experience when it is earned. We had a very bad situation where we bought a house and the appliances were badly abused and in some cases swapped out for lesser quality. When we approached Barrie Discount appliances they went above and beyond in helping us get through a very stressful situation and very quickly getting us set up. We have bought from them a washer, dryer and stove and all of them are fantastic. Their customer service is really good and they work with you to find a time that fits for delivery. They even take away your old appliances. I was very pleased with their service and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. They are great!
