Have been coming there for 20 plus years and I have to say that these guys are are the friendliest and best barbers around !!!!I wish them all the best and in the future

I have gone to this place for a haircut and shave countless times over the last two decades and this morning when I went for a haircut and shave, the second I walked in two barbers turned and said we don’t do your haircut. At which point I said I have been here before and it’s on their menu for pricing as I pointed to it and they just shook their head and said sorry we don’t do it. I was shocked, but this sort of behaviour makes it easy to walk away ✌️

Horrible Customer Service before I even walked in the door.Called to book an appointment, and I asked which one of they’re barbers is good with beards, was told they’re all good, and I said “Okay, but I’m very picky, and want a good job done as I have a long beard”Was told “oh if your picky then we don’t want to deal with you, go somewhere else, bye”Then hang up.Definitely not a way to be handling customer service.

How I've managed to overlook this barber shop for so long is a mystery to me! I've been all over town to various places and have ended up with very mixed results. The Southgate Barber Shop is just that - a barber shop! Phil, who cut my hair, and the rest of the staff are extremely professional and rather fussy about cutting my hair. It's been over a year since I've had my last hair cut and I went in looking like Ozzie Osbourne. I came out looking more like John Fogerty, which was amazing! I'm most pleased with the results and greatly appreciate the skill and patience taken to make this transformation. I most definitely intend to continue going there and highly recommend this amazing shop! Good onya guys!

Have been going here for 10 years. Always received a great haircut at a reasonable price. Friendly barbers with a good sense of humor. Would highly recommend Ben, Carlos & Danny.

I have been to this place over 10 yrs now. The service has been same. Method have been same and best haircut in town. It is busy all the time so make sure you give yourself enough time when you go there. It is like an outing to get a haircut or shave.

Heard the gentleman who cut my hair make racist comments about his previous customer, who was apparently a Indian student. Looking through other reviews, this establishment has a history of such behavior

This barbershop is amazing. Danny and benny are two of the greatest barbers in the city. I have been coming here for 10 plus years, the service has never changed, always top notch. These guys are like a family. Danny has been giving me fadessincd I was in my 20s.

First time there. $30 for regular cut. Not bad.
