By far, the best cappuccino I have had in Hamilton! ☕ Their food is also great - delicious and fresh! Portions are pretty huge. See brunch waffle photo below. The space is well designed but can get crowded/loud on brunch days. There is no table service. You order at the bar. I appreciate that they do not have a payment machine that automatically adds a 20% tip. The staff I interacted with were all super friendly. Highly recommend!

They're proud about their community, about people and you actually feel it. It's not only the food which is great and the coffee is amazing as well, it's about connecting with people through food and atmosphere. We got there, we asked for something special and they not only make it but they go the extra mile. Please come and leave a nice tip, they deserve it.

What a nice place. Great coffee and food. I recommend the All Canadian Waffles with a coffee. Nice and bright and sunny with friendly staff. The location is smack dab in the middle of booming/trendy Ottawa street. They are also my neighbours so I can vouch for them...They would have gotten five stars if they were ju$t a little more affordable...

Amazing food and ambience for a small town. I liked the food and the vibes. Staff was good and provided nice service. Presentation of food was nice and the serving was right size.

We started going to the Cannon before they opened their new location. When we found out they were expanding, we were worried that this would compromise the cozy feel of the place.Good news: the new location is amazing!! It’s bigger, more seating, still cozy ❤️I highly recommend checking this place out for coffee, baked goods or sit down for a delicious waffle breakfast!

The new location for The Cannon is a great upgrade. A lot more space, a better atmosphere, more light, and it looks like its a lot easier on the workers. The food is always amazing and has not changed. They did sell out of a lot of drink options I was hoping to get but after digging into the food, the lack of drink options doesn't remain on my mind. The presentation of the food was great, and the taste was even better. They always wow me here, but get more of the drinks you're forecasting you'll sell out of. 5 stars regardless everytime.

The place to be on Ottawa street. So glad to see them expand and move into a new space. It looks amazing and although they didn't have room their opening day for me to sit and enjoy some food, I thoroughly enjoyed my Chai Latte made by Austin; a true barista master. Great look, and the atmosphere was buzzing. Can't wait to come back and sit down and get some of those famous waffles!
