Posting this review after about 4-5 months after servicing - Fred is MAGIC.My machine sews like butter. I don’t have to struggle with constantly adjusting the tension, changing needles, etc because it just sews so perfectly. One of the best investments I made was to seek Fred’s services. And he makes it SO convenient with free pickup and drop off. Cannot thank you enough, Fred!!

Olga Dewling - Fred is an honest, personable, patient, exceptional professional who tuned my sewing machine and replaced a needle threader recently because my eye sight is failing. When I brought the machine home and couldn’t get the threader to work , he came to the house willingly to adjust it and he made sure that this senior was able to do it herself before he left. Fred also did not charge me for his extra time. I have nothing but great respect for this young man and I would certainly recommend his services to anyone who needs a sewing machine repaired.

Fred is very personable, efficient, inquisitive and thorough! He asked all the right questions and then some to get a full understanding of what was wrong with my machine. Needless to say that his 24-48 hour window to fix the repair is accurate. Mine was fixed within the 24 hour period. Came with a 3 month warranty. I actually tried to clean it myself, but to no avail. Definitely leave it to the pros for maintenance. Fred is the pro! Will definitely use him again with other machines.

Fred was most helpful with my sewing machine. I couldn’t figure out why it was unthreading the needle. Fred went the extra mile to FaceTime me and explain -Step by step how to thread the machine and navigate the stitching. He was kind, patient and VERY knowledgeable. He picked up the machine and dropped it off the next day after servicing it. Pricing was very reasonable. Without hesitation- Fred is the person to call to troubleshoot problems with your seeing machine. A trusted source.

Fred is the go to guy for sewing machine repairs. My machine was picked and returned within 24 hours. Fred had replaced the broken part cleaned and adjusted the tension on my machine. Very friendly and reasonably priced. Would recommend Fred's services to all my friends that sew. thank you Fred.

Fred was excellent very friendly and when he called he quoted base price and was more than ok with my waiting to decide if I wanted to get him to service my machine. Once I contacted him he was willing to pick up same day and from my work i didn’t have to bring it to him or have it picked up somewhere specific and he got it done quickly as well. He quoted me 24-48 hours and got it to me even faster! Incredibly impressed and will be going to Fred again if I’m in need of service

Fred the Needle is the one you are looking for in the whole Ontario. He did a great job to do maintenance on White Sewing Machine (Model 167 - in picture). One knob was stuck with rust so Fred fixed it up! Very fast to get the job done within a day or two depending his working schedule. I brought another sewing machine - Kenmore Sewing Embroidery 19000 and it's all like brand new again. I would highly recommend him to take care of your vintage sewing machines and save the heavy duty sewing machine without going to landfill. I would not want to give anyone who can fix it except Fred the Needle!

Fred was great to deal with. Professional, quick to respond, and the pick up/ drop off service is super helpful!! He was able to repair and return my machine in less than 24 hours! I'll definitely be recommending Fred to others and will for sure use him for my own future needs.

If you’re trying to figure out where to get your sewing machine fixed or tuned up, Fred is your guy!! On the phone, he helped me diagnose the problem and determine whether my machine needed to be brought in. He was lovely to deal with, very flexible, and so fast!! Fixed in 2 days, and he even fixed an issue I didn’t even know was there! Great prices, and great service. Couldn’t ask for anything more! 10/10!!
