The swiftness of the drivethru was amazing. The restaurant is great as well. This place seems like a well tuned engine with great quality food for great pricepoint for what you're getting. It's surprisingly high quality food. You can't get root beer or onion rings like this anywhere

A&W is making its way to the lead as far as fast food goes. Great breakfasts, et al. Keep it classy with the frozen glass mugs (straw-less), good meat and friendly staff. Many great option for vegetarians and it has to be the only fast food restaurant offering oat milk. Love this place and this location. Only downside was that it was freezing inside. It still wouldn’t prevent me for keeping this out of the regular rotation.

We came here for dinner on a Friday night. The girls working there were very friendly and kind. Our orders were ready very fast, and they brought it to the table for us.

Honestly was really disapponted with the food and service last visit. Probably wont be going to this location again. Order was completely wrong, it was hard to communicate with the person taking orders and it also took quite a while for the food to be ready they made me park in a parking spot well they prepped my order so it didnt affect their timer.

Interesting location for an A&W. The main entrance backs up quickly as the line up to order is right at the front as you enter. Service was relatively quick but the burgers were quite greasy (more so than what you would expect). The bacon was under cooked which added to the mess. The frosted glass of root beer were great though and their fries are the best.

I don't know if they changed management recently but the service today was dryer then the Mama burgers I received. I should of known from the phone etiquette the kind of service I was going to get. I mean what restaurant answers the phone and says nothing. I called and someone answered the phone and it was dead air, not even a hi you reached (insert restaurant name). I had to ask if it was A&W before they said anything and when they talked I couldn't understand through the accent. Even at the drive through no curtesy, not even a welcome to A&W what can I get for you. Just got a bland hold on a second followed by .............ok,what would you like? I know its only $2.99 for a burger but did they have to reduce the size of the patty and call it a special. Its the same size of a buddy burger. 2 stars for quick service. I will not be returning though.

I visited this location on January 17 around 8:35 am for breakfast. The attendant at the drive through was very polite greeted me with good morning and a smile. I waited 3 mins on the side for my breakfast and the second worker who brought the food out was also polite.

A&W is located at Heron Gate Square at 1660 Heron Road. This franchise store still has the new store vibe, is clean and staff are friendly. The family burgers taste consistently the same and meet expectations. I prefer to drink their root beer in their frosty retro glass mugs.The drive tru works well, too bad they would not serve you if you're on your bicycle.I like the direction A&W has taken to offer Canadian grass fed beef that is raised without added hormones or steroids. I believe this makes eating fast food a little better for my overall health.
