Radio Block Tattoo

For the last five months I've been a regular at Radio Block and the atmosphere and tattoo experience continue to impress and exceed expectations. Garret and Grace are truly magical human beings and they are every bit as talented as they are charming and heartwarming. Everyone is happy to see you when you walk through the door, and when you leave your day is brightened to such an extent you almost forget the pain of getting tattooed. The decor is eclectic enough to keep your eyes busy but the conversation always helps to keep your mind off the whirring (and stabbing) of the machines. Garret is a genuine master of his craft, and it's easy to see how magnificent of a mentor he is when you see Grace's work which is already spectacular but seems to get better still every time I stop in. Radio Block is by far the coziest, friendliest, most intimate, welcoming, non-judgmental place one can go for a tattoo without stopping by a private studio.

Just got my first tattoos with Sarah and could not have asked for a better experience! Sarah is professional, comforting and above all else an amazing tattoo artist! Love my work and can't say enough good things about Sarah and Radio Block!

Highly recommend. Garret Egles is the nicest guy you’ll meet. Such good conversation that completely took my mind off the pain. As for the tattoo, I absolutely love it!

Prices and clear and reasonable, tattoo execution is immaculate every single time and I feel extremely comfortable being tattooed here. This is my forever shop.

I’ve gotten a couple of tattoos from Garret now and every time is a 12/10 experience. An amazing artist! Everyone in the shop is super friendly and welcoming, very comfortable environment. Can’t recommend this place enough.

I went earlier today to get a piece done by Garrett, the whole team was super welcoming and kind! The Shop is by far the coolest shop I've been in, and the music was fantastic, which is very important!It was very clean and organized, Garrett and his team were fantastic and professional. Garrett went above and beyond my exceptions and design concept.I will definitely be coming back for all my tattoo needs.

(Updating this for my most recent visit, Sept 2021. The shop is incredibly clean, which is no surprise. Contactless paperless consent forms are a great idea. And the tattoos we got from Sarah were amazing, and confirmed for me that this is the best tattoo shop in Calgary! )Outstanding experience here. Garret is an amazing artist, the shop is incredibly cool, and they really care about the work they produce. Would highly recommend this shop if you like the modern take on old-school; Garret's got the chops to do some really geeky" work as well

Had a great experience here! Not only is the shop so clean and fun to look at, my artist (govtattoo) did an amazing job. He was super talented, fast, friendly and I loved how the tattoo turned out !
