In the heart of Waterton townsite, as the name implies. Easy walk to stores, restaurants, marina, beach, waterfalls, and a great visitor centre. Sites were spacious and fully serviced. Restrooms and showers were plentiful and clean. I noticed there were fully paved Handicap sites next to the restrooms. The park was full the last night we were there and it was still quiet and peaceful. The Alberta wildfire smoke made the mountains hazy for a couple of days, but we were treated to a starry sky on our last night.

Loved this campground. Location is fine though subject to that breeze which Waterton is known for. Easy walking to town and amenities-restaurants etc.Facilities are well maintained and equipped.

Great facilities, hot water and showers in the bathroom. Kitchen area to wash dishes and wood stove cook tops you can use. Short walk to restaurants and attractions in town. Tent camping area is a little crowded with other campers being so close but everyone seemed to be respectful during my stay.

Fully serviced campsites that are within walking distance to Waterton. Friendly staff and excellent hiking trails for all skill levels. Great way to enjoy nature while being close to the small necessities.

Well maintained campground. In the H area for tents only, some sites are very open and others have some trees. Look at the photos on the booking system before choosing. It's a bear program site, so no food around, there are bins available or pack it in your car. Parking lots are close to sites in H area. Good bathrooms. H site is close to Cameron Bay, a great spot for dark sky watching. Quiet for the most part, never saw a Parks Canada person enforcing rules or quiet hours.

Camping here was a good experience. The campsites are located right next to the Waterton Lake and if you pick the right site, you could wake up in the morning right next to the lake and the mountains. It is located very close to all the facilities in the town - restaurants, shops, marina etc. The bathrooms and shower are clean and well maintained. There is a shelter for cooking since the area can get pretty windy. As the campgrounds are set on a grassy plain, they are an excellent place to camp if you have kids leaving them with a lot of open space. The only concern could be that the campsites are adjacent to each other. Since there are not many trees/natural barriers, you could be camping pretty close to your neighbours esp. if you're in a tent.If you're camping in a tent, make sure to invest in sturdy pegs (winds) and warm blankets (gets cold at night).

Camping in a very large area right in town. Pros: adjacent to town amenities, and lake. Very clean, well organized, good pricing, variety of campsite types available, showers, reservations are available. Cons: sites, while nice are close together with few trees to block view of other campers. No fire pits/fires.I would definitely stay here again. Lots of fun for families.

A nice campground located right in town. Has amazing views and can walk to a waterfall right within town. My only complain would be how close all campgrounds are to each other but makes up with how clean all accommodations are. Would recommend to book reservations in advance because all the good spots will fill in fast.

I have camped here three times. It's a decent place. It has a lot of campsites and it's quite busy with lots of people camping. I think camping in a camper would be more pleasant here because we were in a tent and it's super windy. They have showers, bathrooms, and even little cooking places to protect from the wind... let me tell you keeping the camp stove lit is hard in the wind. Also careful of the deer they are wildly habituated!
