Nice having a local butcher. Every thing i have picked up there is great, wide selection.Update:Have been shopping here for over a year, staff have got to know me and and always have a friendly greeting for me. All the cuts I have picked up are first rate. I bring in a recipe and they custom cut meat for each recipe.It should be noted that you get what you pay for and having said that it is not a discount butcher but a fine AAA butcher.

We moved to the neighborhood about a year ago and have become regular customers at popowich. The steaks are always amazing. I especially like that on days I feel like celebrating there are often wagu steaks that taste heavenly. Definitely the best place in town for steak.

What a great butcher shop! Absolutely top of the line meat, and great service! It’s so rare to find that true Mom-and-Pop, old school friendliness and personal service anymore, but Popowich has it in spades! Definitely recommend, and will be back as often as possible!

Perhaps the best Ribeye I’ve had! And I’ve had them all, from close to home, to far, far away.This was my first experience and will it NOT be my last. In fact, it will be my new go-to.Awesome family run butcher. And I would like to say thanks for bringing this to our neighborhood.Cheers

Support local! Do it! Thank GOD we have a butcher that isn't infested with grotesqueness in West Edmonton! Also if you haven't had that Sticky Fixx BBQ sauce it's the absolute JAM.

Nice little butcher shop tucked away. Lots of parking, well lit, clean store. Friendly and helpful staff. If they don't have it, they will find it and bring it in for you! Highly recommend supporting this mom and pop butcher shop.
