Peak of the Market

Bought 2 bags of red potatoes now and they are so green under the skin. I was always told because of the toxins these contain, don't eat them. What a waste.

I try to avoid peak of the market products whenever possible, unfortunately they are more of a marketing cartel. Their produce is usually inferior quality

I am a Great believer in supporting local business. It is good for all of us. But if this is the quality of local product, .... Someone needs to pick up on their game. Damaged produce this bad of any kind should not be sold. Bought at Sobeys 1 week before these pictures were taken.

This brand's produce is heavily and inedibly saturated in chemicals. No amount of soaking or any other thing resolves it. They have no-one on board to care, they don't do anything to create justice. Buying their produce is like flushing your money down the toilet.

There is no quality in the product anymore!Potatoes are wet and full of black spots inside onions are not dry so they start to spoil !They are doing the farmers a big disservice as it is peak of the market that handles all the storage!I now look for product of the US to get good quality!

I own a local food service business and contacted peak of the market about getting some produce for my business was told would not be a problem because I am looking to buy 100 to 200 pounds or more at a time. Then I contacted them for an order to pick up and they told me that they could not sell to me even after explaining that I had already spoke to somebody and it should not have been a problem.For a company that speaks of supporting local growers and local business, they do not support local businesses only large scale wholesalers, which are not local if I could, I would give them no stars, but I had to give them one, but they don’t even deserve that

People, we MUST start to keep our receipts and RETURN products to the store, and get a FULL refund. Stores will stop buying garbage to sell to us! RETURN TO THE STORE! (Figure it out,How manyBags of produce didEach and everyone of us throw out that this company has gained on). I WILL NOT BUY NOR TRUST THIS COMPANY! I AM ASHAMED THAT YOU ARE PROUDLY CANADIAN!? This product as well as FALSE info on your packaging is Nothing to be proud of!! ----- I purchased 2-2 lb bag of carrots, And they taste awful!Each and every single carrot in the bag. I tried to call the number on the bag, I also tried to email The address on the bag And Both are unavailable!! This company does not care, As written, Guarantee your satisfaction"

I love the deals they have on vegetables, which is important for me and my family, as we're making pickle and carrot preserves in preparation for the return of Christ and the eventual apocalypse. We don't anticipate our immediate ascension into the afterlife when that day comes, and since it make take a few days for our spirits to leave our bodies, we don't want to wait out the end of the world on empty stomachs!

THE most terrible bag of red potatoes EVER. I was trying to make mashed potatoes. Peeled & boiled them for 20-30 minutes. They were still raw. Boiled 10 minutes more. They were still semi-raw. Nuked them for 10 minutes - still partially raw. Nuked ANOTHER 10 minutes. STILL not able to mash!! Finally made instant mashed potatoes. Unacceptable quality to say the least so back to the store they go!
