Awesome course grounds crew have done an awesome job food is good camp ground is as well if you are a golfer that would like a challenge then I recommend giving this course a try you won't regret it

Great golf course and well maintained, in my opinion, it is not too beginner's friendly though.

This course is always in fantastic shape. It's a tight course that makes you keep control of your ball. The white sand bunkers will challenge the best bunker players and the greens are always smooth and quick. Love it.

Very rude and unprofessional staff. Had some questions and concerns I brought up to staff members and it was dealt with in a very unprofessional way. I will not be back. And do not recommend this place if your looking for a happy friendly environment.

Beautiful course but terrible customer service with staff and the board. As a regular paying customer to Heart River Golf Course for the past 11 years, I had a few concerns. I have called the course to book a tee time for 8 pm after the couples league, where I was told that was fine. Upon arrival, I had noticed that a group of 8 boys, all teeing off at the same time, had taken my tee time. This led me to cancel that tee time with Dave, who is the new manager to my understanding. Not being friendly or showing any concern to what as happened, I then request to book a tee time the next following Saturday morning for myself at 7:30 or 8 am, whichever worked. I was then told that I was not to golf as there was a 10am shotgun start for a tournament that morning. I did inform Dave that it would just be myself, I have been able to book an early morning tee time in previous years, & it only takes me about an hour & fifteen minutes for a round in my own cart. Again, I was shot with a firm “no”, & told to have a good day.This isn’t the only inconvenience I’ve had at this golf course this year, & also not the first time someone has taken my tee time, knowing that I am required to be there 15 minutes before. There have been times where I have driven the 20 minute drive to go to the driving range just to learn that there are no range balls because “No one has had time to pick them”, I’ve tried to support the pro shop, & there are never sleeves of balls stocked, besides the fact that the manager had his golf clubs in the way of merchandise leaving it difficult to get to product. I’ve had my food orders forgotten about, given there are only two other customers in line who received theirs. I’ve had conflicting information given to me of when I am able to golf where I’ve been told one minute I can make a tee time after a league, & upon arrival I am not. The customer service experience at the golf course has overall been poor.The managers make it well known to the public of how long they have been running golf courses, however it is disheartening to see the golf course I grew up on become such a free for all. The amount of miscommunication, unorganized fashion, & careless attitude the golf course represents is now the reason I no longer have the desire to golf at the Heart River. The atmosphere has drastically changed for the worse. The careless manner is not just limited to the clubhouse, but to the campsites as well where the female manager openly chatted with me while washing my golf cart, that she “doesn’t even like golf”. This kind of attitude very much reflects the effort that is being put into having a proper business.

Stopped in to play 9 holes and by coincidence it was mens night and I played with 3 very friendly and fun gentlemen, condition of the course was awesome and was a very interesting layout. I’d definitely play there again

Greens are in great shape this season, prices are fair. The course is run by some pretty friendly people, beauty course.

Absolutely beautiful! A great first time experience. Peace, Beauty, and a Great game with good people around. A gem in the Heart of The Peace.

Green grass. VERY quiet. Well worth the stay.
