Korean Grill House
I think the name of the restaurant is misleading and not the usual Korean barbecue. We just randomly chose this place for lunch and didn't order barbecue, instead we had bibimbap. The grilled meat in the stone pot was excellent, tender, and juicy, but it's not Korean-style bibimbap.By the way, this Korean grill restaurant doesn't provide side dishes, and you need to pay $10 for a serving. The tip is already included in the bill by the server, and 13% is normal in downtown, but the lack of choice made me feel disrespected. The table next to us, a family of four with children, was also charged 15%.If you want to have barbecue, I would recommend Gyubee Japanese Grill and Daldongnae Korean BBQ.

It was okay. There definitely are way better KBBQ AYCE spots.Meats were limited and not explained well. What cut, what flavor profile, why does the lamb, chicken, pork and beef all taste the same.Service was good and fast. Order from your phone via a QR code. They delivered stuff real quick which was nice.I think I would try other spots before coming back here again.

Good food and amazing staff! The restaurant is ventilated very well, there is no lingering smokey smell in the air from the grills which is rare. The staff are very attentive and the dishes come out fast after placing the order through your phone via QR code. I would definitely visit again!

We didn't have any knowledge about Korean cuisine and we only came to know that you buy the meat and you cook it yourself which was a huge shock for us. Good thing we knew this before ordering. We got a different menu for cooked items and order chicken noodles beef rice which was the good. We particularlu liked the ox tail bbq but the beef ribs were so hard to eat so we didn't like that. Maybe this is a Korean style of cooking. So know this before you go in.

Everything is so delicious and a must try for everyone who haven’t tried it yet. We tried the all you can eat and all their food are quite good actually. Great job to them!

Great place with great staff all the time. Weekday and weekend prices differ by about $5. Getting a sake with the food goes so well too. No need for a reservation, most times, you can walk in and get a table. Nice experience with friends and family..

I used to frequent the grill house a lot when I was younger. Not much has changed over the years. Still just as busy. The food is still just as delicious as it was when I was in university. The one thing that is different (at least, that I can remember) is no more miso soup. Not sure when that was removed from the menu. They have a beef soup now. Not sure what that tastes like. Overall, when the family feels like grilling some meat, we will come back.

I recently visited Korean Grill House on Queen Street in Toronto on a Thursday evening around 8pm, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The restaurant was not too busy at that time, which made for a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. One of the highlights of my visit was the incredible flavors of the meat. The grill was sizzling with tantalizing aromas, and each bite was bursting with authentic Korean flavors. From the marinated beef to the succulent chicken, the quality of the meat was exceptional, leaving me thoroughly satisfied.Another aspect that impressed me was the excellent service provided by the staff. The servers were extremely attentive, promptly taking our orders and ensuring that all our needs were met throughout the meal. They even made sure to refill our water glasses regularly, which was a small but thoughtful touch. However, I must mention that despite the overall positive experience, there was an issue with flies flying around our food. It was slightly off-putting to have these little fruit flies buzzing around, and it did detract from an otherwise enjoyable meal. I cannot pinpoint the exact cause of this issue, but it seemed to be related to those tiny fruit flies or something similar.Despite the fly situation, I would definitely consider dining at Korean Grill House again. The flavors of the meat and the exceptional service made it a memorable experience. However, I do hope that the restaurant management addresses the fly issue, as it would greatly enhance the dining experience for future patrons. In conclusion, Korean Grill House on Queen Street offers delicious Korean cuisine with exceptional flavors and attentive service. It's a great spot for a satisfying meal, especially if you can overlook the occasional presence of flies.

Very solid Korean BBQ joint, nice size tables with room to load up on meats and sides. They are crazy fast delivering the food to your table and friendly while doing so.It was pretty one note, not much variety in their marinades but all tasted good. Could have used some hot sauce to spice things up .
