Parkview Dental Centre

I was disappointed when I brought my kids in to have their teeth checked. My son was very nervous and scared, and the dentist didn’t seem to take that in to account, didn’t walk my son through what he was doing and didn’t help his nerves at all. It was more traumatic than it needed to be. He didn’t even touch my 2 year old or shine any lights in her mouth before saying she had no cavities, and I had to ask to have my other daughter’s teeth cleaned, which was the purpose of the appointment. The hygienist was great, but we will not be returning to Dr. Vaughn.

Recently booked an appointment ahead of time with a specific dentist. Went to that appointment. Wasn't greeted the most welcoming way by front end staff. Stood for a few minutes before being asked if I had an appointment. Filled out the appropriate paper work, then waited for about 20 min. Went back to the dentist chair, laid back and was greeted by a dentist I had NOT made an appointment with. I kindly made a statement of the situation and informed the dentist I did NOT book an appointment with him. I was told he was filling in which is fine. I was NEVER made aware of the situation. I went to the front to re book, again with the specific dentist. I was reminded a few times he is expecting a baby and might not be available. I was fine with it, and asked to be notified ahead so I could re book if that was the case. Sarcastically I asked if I should call 30 min before my appointment to make sure he is available for my next appointment, I was told that would be a great idea. Cancelling appointment and not trusting this office.

Couldn't be more grateful! Great staff. Excellent Dentist. Loved his approach to my emergency. Very competent and knowledgeable. I'm sticking with him! Lori was fantastic as well, ensuring aftercare as well as during the extraction. I found a dentist! Thank you so much you guys! See you soon :)

I've gone here for my dentist appointments for many years, and always had a great experience. Dr. Vaughn is my personal dentist, and he has been great for all the years I've been with him. Staff are all extremely friendly and the location is immaculately clean. Highly recommended!
