We’ve been coming to RED for almost a decade. They were amazing in the beginning, but since the departure of Dr Reynolds years ago, it has been on a steady decline.List of complaints has been varied with the routine staff turnover.A Rough hygienistA care free dentist who didn’t even introduce themselves.A dentist who extracted my infected tooth with no effective pain relief. They said freezing isn’t effective for infected situations but did not offer NOS gas and refused when I asked for it as they didn’t have time. This should have been planned for since I had already been more than once dealing with the infection issue. I was literally screaming out loud through the process. Ridiculous in this day and age. They booked a check up too early for our benefits plan so we had to pay out of pocket then couldn’t even figure out how it happened.I don’t see or recognize any of the original staff anymore. Never a good sign. These things are a mix of minor and major issues but they add up. So we’re done there.

I give Riveredge dental a five star because they work hard to make their patience. Happy. The front staff are very easy to work with and Dr. Kor is amazing. I have panic and anxiety issues when it comes to dentistry and the employees at Riveredge dental work hard to help me is my anxiety at each and every visit.

If I could give this clinic less stars, I would. For a bit of background, and some clarity for all who read this, I began using their services about a year and a half ago, I had a severely painful rear molar and a couple fillings needing done. The first visit, the European dentist (who has since been let go for the same offences), carefully explained to me what work would need to be done to my teeth. It was a lot more work than I had expected (a LOT), and I had immediately begun doing the math. I told her to start with the most severe and we would work our way back from there, but that it would be a bit of time until I could get it all completed. She had immediately chastised me for waiting at all and told me it was all immediate. I had responded with a reminder to check her privilege before addressing someone like that, gotten a different dentist, and moved forward from there.Next appointment was my first hands on appointment, where the doctor had noted at the beginning that I'd had TMJ. He said nothing further, and put a small rubber triangle in my rear teeth to keep my jaw open wide enough when it started to tremble and get sore. Which I get, his job is my teeth, and he has only a certain amount of time.Next visit was the real problem. At this point I am probably about just under a grand into dental work, and I have a new female dentist. She did not communicate well, she had no regard for my discomfort, and she did what she pleased regarding the work needing done. Over the next 3 visits, she put not one, but 2 temporary fillings in the same tooth (the original problem), drilling this tooth out more each time, and the filling falling out within the week. When I came back the third time, I had been complaining that both of the rear molars she had worked on were in pain, and not a little bit, ill add. She addressed the less painful one, and then had turned her attention to the problem tooth, and told me I'd had an infection. She prescribed antibiotics and pain killers, and sent me on my way. Fast forward 2 weeks, im back, the antibiotic had not worked at all. She sent me a script for a harsher dose and informed me that if that had not worked, that I would have to go in for IV antibiotics at the hospital.I'll tell you right now. When those antibiotics didn't work, I did not go back. They killed my body, I was so tired and worn down from all the medication.*I got a second opinion very recently. They say my teeth otherwise are healthy and very well kept, my other molar filling needed a bite adjustment as the current  one was the wrong shape, hence the pain and trouble eating. He saw my jaw move and told me absolutely everything i needed to know about reducing the damage from TMJ, told me i was a candidate for muscle relaxers it was so severe, and then showed me how to help relax the jaw muscles when i could. The problem tooth took my new dentist all of 30 seconds to address. I never had an infection. I had no bumps on my gums, and was still sensitive to hot and cold. He then informed me that the root was bare. The nerve had been exposed for quite some time. He was dumbfounded at why they hadn't immediately filled it, and confused at the temporary filings. Now I need a root canal, where previously it MAY not have been necessary.I have one more appointment. After a year and a half of shoddy work, not being able to eat, losing more weight than healthy because of it, and eating advil like candy, for the first time, I see an end to all the endless budgeting, stress, and upset this clinic has caused me.Honestly? Shame on this clinic. I am so utterly disappointed at the lack of education, and the total disinterest it betrays.I have never in my life felt the need to leave such a scathing review, not for bad service, not for rude employees, not even for bad experiences. But this clinic had such an impact on my quality of life for over a year. I haven't eaten properly in over a year. I have been taking ibuprofen like a multivitamin for over a year. So yea, I wouldn't recommend this place. To anyone.

My kids don't like going to the dentist. But when it is a distinguished staff and professional doctors. The results are impressive. I no longer worry about convincing my children to go to the dentist. The professional doctor, Majd Georgie, treated my three children. It really was a great experience. Thanks. I have been to many dental centers. But one of the best was the River Edge Center in Orangeville. I would like to thank you, especially Dr. Majd Georgi. Because she is really not just a doctor. She is a wonderful human being and she deals with a classy and beautiful manner. I wish you the best. my regards.

I am only giving 1 stars because the front staff are very nice. I had a terrible experience with Dr. Georgie. I went in for a tooth extraction and the freezing wasn't working properly, I was able to feel her pulling it out. I kept saying that I could feel it but she kept putting freezing in my back gums and not where the tooth was directly. My husband watched as she almost stabbed herself with the needle and tripped over her own chair. We had to stop because so much pain was caused. During this time she left the room so many times and could be heard laughing about the situation to a coworker. Completely unprofessional. She left me with an open wound and didn't take an after x-ray which a new dentist required to finish the work. Dr. Georgie stated that I needed to go to a specialist, that a regular dentist couldn't handle this, for an emergency situation but failed to find someone for me to go to. I left and found another dentist (a regular dentist!) myself that was sympathetic to the problem and took me right away. She listened to what I had to say and properly numbed the pain in the tooth and was able to finish the job within 20 mins. I do not recommend Dr. Georgie at all, she has a lot to learn about listening to her patients and being a professional.
