Originally came in to get a 2nd opinion on my wisdom teeth, and Dr. So provided easy to understand feedback to my questions. I have been coming back for 2 years now. Every time, Dr. So (not a hygienist) would perform the cleaning & check-up, and advise me of any deterioration or issues that I should watch out for. She will let you know what she is doing, and check if you are OK throughout the appointment. The staff in general are very helpful and professional.

I highly recommend SK Dental! Dr. Ko, Dr. So & the SK Dental Team have been excellent, professional, client focused, meeting our family's dental needs from standard cleaning, to braces, to more complex dental work. We have been with them for well over a decade.

I like to express my great appreciation to my Dentist Dr Bonnie So. My wife and myself are the patients with her for over 20 years. I must say I am a person who is very very terrified of going to see any dentists until I met Dr Bonnie So. She is so patient, skillful and gentle of dealing with a patient like me which I feel very comfortable and no more fear when she takes care of my teeth. All the staffs are very friendly and the office facility is clean and bright.This is the reason why I don’t mind to drive almost 1 hour from Scarborough where I live to Whitby. Dr. Bonnie So and her team are absolutely wonderful. I had terrible anxiety going to the dentist in the past, SK Dental was recommended to me by someone who also had anxiety about going to the dentist. Dr. So and her team have made me feel so comfortable and have been accommodating and patient every appointment I have had. They constantly make sure that I am at ease and that I know what’s happening. I no longer dread going to the dentist thanks to Dr. So and her team. Dr. Ko at SK Dental is a fantastic Dentist. Dr. Ko and his staff has taken great care of myself and my family for twenty years, they have always made us feel comfortable and listened to our concerns and always went the extra mile to keep our mouths healthy and our teeth in great shape. I had a chronic fear of dental work and Dr. Ko has been the only dentist that I have ever seen long term. The receptionist, Melissa is a great addition to his team, she always takes care of our administrative papers and works hard to fit appointments in our schedule and always calls with friendly reminders. The entire team at SK Dental has been a valuable asset to our care.

I cannot relate when people say they hate going to the dentist, because mine is incredible. From Melissa greeting you with a warm smile and chit chat, to Dr.Ko being the friendliest and kindest dentist I’ve had. They truly make you feel like you are part of a family and not just another patient. The entire staff are welcoming, considerate, and just amazing people. I’ve been going to SK dental for a couple years now and have always been treated with nothing but the best care and attention. I am in the end stages of having my braces, and with Dr.Ko as my orthodontist as well, my teeth have never looked better. I highly recommend making SK dental your dentist.

Looking for the BEST dentist? Dr Ko has been our dentist for over 20 years. Bar none the finest dentist I've ever had. He has also done our children's braces, mant many years later, they're all still enjoying his exceptional work! He's gentle, kind, extremely professional and strives for excellence. The rest of his team is fantastic! Melissa, his receptionist, is attentive and always makes our visits so welcoming. You'll never forget an appointment again, she's so amazing with follow up!

Do not go to this dentist unless you want to be overcharged on your insurance for services that weren’t preformed. Also they don’t do scheduling properly so your dentist will always be late and they’ll always be in a rush to get you out that chair, even if it means doing the bare minimum and then charging you as if they did the whole job.

My family and I have been patients of SK Dental for over 9 years. Dr. Ko and Dr. So ensure their patients are comfortable while keeping them informed throughout the appointment. They are both knowledgeable and professional. Their admin assistant, Melissa, is very welcoming and helpful. Great, friendly dental practice.
