I initially wanted to cancel the trip as I have a fear over the ocean and I am so glad that I didn't. It's one of the best PEI experiences that I had. The captain and another member from the crew were super helpful and kind. I have never caught a fish in my life and this time I did and it brought joy to my day. I can feel the same energy from other guests and we were in a boat full of happy faces which I am grateful for as I haven't had the same feeling back in the city for awhile. As someone who doesn't like the hooks, being able to catch one and release one was a good balance for me.

8 of us went out and had an awesome time. Didnt have to drive for hours and mackerel fishing was a blast. Cod fishing was catch and release and we didnt need to spend hours waiting for bites.Second trip with joey's crew and its a blast everytime.

We can't say enough about our Captain and his mate. They made this experience amazing for us. They were kind, patient,helpful, funny and had lots of knowledge that they shared with us. We loved every second of it and would have booked another fishing trip immediately if we had more time on the island.We can't wait to come back.

Joey's Deep Sea Fishing
I had an awesome time with Captain David and JP. Me and my wife combine caught at least 35 mackerels. Unfortunately we didn’t catch any cods, but the mackerels are surprisingly feisty at times. The Captain and is crew member are knowledgeable and can respond to any questions concerning PEI fishery. I truly think it is worth 3 hours of your time. It also makes amazing photo memories.

Wonderful trip if you enjoy traveling on a boat during the summer season. The captain briefed the passages about the safety concern and taught us the how to fishing. Remember to bring a bucket to collect the fish.

This is my 2nd time deep sea fishing at pei and somehow I like my first trip more. I think they all do the same stuff. Captain and staffs are friendly and we are all happy. The only reason why I didn't have 5 star was we gotten too little time to fish for cod.

Julie is very accommodating and helped us move up our trip. Captain Dave and Riley were very helpful and kind to everyone on our tour. We had a great time and caught some great fishies!

This was the best fishing we have done in Prince Edward Island. The crew was amazing and the fishing was incredible. We chartered the boat for our family’s first deep sea fishing experience. My family and I would like to thank Joeys Deep Fishing for an afternoon of memories that will last forever.

Excellent captain and boat staff. Joey was there to greet us with a warm welcome. Fishing was so much fun! They clean the fish and bag it up for you to take home. Scenic boat ride on the way out and back in is beautiful. Highly recommend this company!
