I was so excited to have a landscaper help me with my garden. Based on the quote they gave me I felt I could afford to have them back and looked forward to a continuing relationship. I was given a quote for a specific job. When the crew were here I was informed they were reaching time" and did I want them to continue. I of course said yes but did not ask how much thinking it would be reasonable. The final cost for the job they quoted came in 70% higher than the quote. A bit of a shock. The weeding job was definitely substandard and the weeds are now popping through the bark mulch. My garden looks the same now as it did before Ladybug. A major disappointment and I just wasted a few thousand dollars."

I did not know what to expect because I chose Ladybug through online research I had done.I felt fairly confident with my choice because the previous reviews of James’ workmanship were good. The negative reviews were all based on James not doing a ‘job unseen, over the phone estimate’. That actually made me happy. I believe that an accurate estimate can only be given AFTER a proper review of the task is performed.When James arrived he was very personable, respectful and HONEST. We discussed a number of my garden plants and I was very impressed with his knowledge. He knew the name, Latin and common, of every plant we discussed as well as the optimum growing requirements.James did a great job trimming the hedge and cleaning up the worksite. In addition I found his fee to be very reasonable. I will definitely use Ladybug Landscaping again.

James and the team at Ladybug have done a number of large projects for me at two different homes over the last year. They did a fantastic job. James is very knowledgeable and creative, and works very hard at his business. I can recommend Ladybug Landscaping without any hesitation!

Hire anyone else. This company will promise you what you want to hear, take your deposit, then do poor work that even the owner thought was poor. After he convinced me he would fix it, I made the mistake of paying the remaining balance and trusting he would do what he said he would do. Since then, he hasn't done anything, including returning any of the 5 messages I left him. Don't be fooled by these folks. See what my rock garden looks like after one and a half months and they took close to $2000 of my money.Part 2: Now I see they have finally responded. Sad that this is the only thing that has worked to get their attention. I didn't ask them to put the dirt back or use inferior landscape paper, but they chose to anyways.

Met James about a month ago and shared my idea of what I wanted to do and the Ladybug Team arrived and did exactly what I wanted and were all so professional and friendly. Had the hedge also given a very big trim on top which was not easy to do, but they handled the difficult situation beautifully. The sitting area is perfect and all of my old red bricks were used in other parts of my garden. Very happy!! All done in one day....perfect!

Recent job completed, was quoted by employee using measuring wheel to ensure accuracy, owwer then wanted to increase amount on completion citing additional coste and time by nearly 30%. The delays were of their own decisions and problems with staff on site etc. We rejected claims, in protest paid an amount higher than quoted to resolve an unsatisfactory development.

As a strata, we are very happy with the results of our garden bed overhaul. The design James created is unique, exactly what we wanted and garners many compliments from walkers by. Ladybug was a pleasure to work with both in the garden and in the office. They are caring, attentive, helpful and eager to share their knowledge.

I appreciate the care that James puts into good work, honesty and integrity.
