The Fix it Boys Heating and Cooling

We have used other HVAC companies in the past, but no one compares to Fix It Boys. We brought them in to a home inspection of our new home because we found ourselves looking at a non-standard furnace/air conditioning unit. Brandon checked it out and looked into exactly what it was and how it worked. He gave us the peace of mind to go ahead with our purchase knowing that Fix It Boys will be there when we need them.

Brandon and Jason at Fix it Boys are amazing! Their 24 hour emergency access has been a life saver this winter. They were able to fix our furnace the same day we called for help even though it was a weekend AND they had to source out for the repair parts. Just an overall excellent experience and I am so happy I called them!

On December 02, 2022 which was one of Edmonton coldest day my garage heater was not working. I called the Fix it Boys Heating and Cooling for assistance. They were busy restoring heat to other customers but assured me that someone will come by. Not long after, Jason called and told me that he was on his way. Soon after he arrived he immediately went to work and quickly diagnosed the problem. He had my heater going in no time. Jason was very friendly and acted professionally throughout. Not only will I call them again if the need arise but I will highly recommend them to family and friends. Thanks again Jason for a job well done.

I just used Fix it Boys again- twice actually. review below this one was from a previous duct cleaning. They put a new furnace in at a rental were living in (August 2022) and in April 2023 we moved into a home we bought and they did the ducts again. The furnace was replaced by the previous owner in January 2023 and with their help, I was able to find out how to get listed as the new owner with the company that did that work. I also found out that owner never got an inspector out from the City of Edmonton, so that was important information! I don't think most companies would have gone above and beyond with this type of service. Thanks again- I HIGHLY recommend Brandon & Jason!!A few friends recommended this company, I read the Google reviews, which were awesome, AND being a small business, they rely on these reviews, so I thought I better do one, since they did great work! I got my ducts cleaned and they did a great job! On time ( I was able to book for that afternoon), quick to do the cleaning and they even gave me a health care worker reduced rate! I highly recommend this company!

Our basement kitchen has a gas stove, but it doesn’t have a vent, which is not allowed. So, I contacted Fix it Boys Heating and Cooling to find out how much it would cost to get a vent. After examining the layout in the kitchen and learning that we did not want to spend too much money renovating the basement, he made a suggestion that was out of the box. His suggestion did not involve an extensive renovation. In fact, his suggested solution resulted in significantly lowered costs to us (and hence less money to Brandon’s pocket) to achieve the same outcome. We greatly appreciate the fact he took time to learn our objectives and suggested a cost effective solution.

We have worked with Fix It Boys for a couple of years now. Every single job was well planned and organized with customer satisfaction after every job completed. They are our favourite contractor to work along side on installs. I recommend them to everyone I know! Give them a shot! You will be surprised!

Is it time for a new furnace ? Not the best time to make this important purchase ? This AWESOME local company now offers payment plans !!!! Brandon is so knowledgeable and easy to do business with :)

On one fine night around 01AM our furnace suddenly stopped blowing heat and it was one of the coldest days of Dec-2022. We tried calling more than 10 business for a visit to repair however either most of them didn’t responded or they were were not available to visit by next morning . It was just us with our 1 year old baby with this situation and we contacted Brandon around 03 in the morning. He started explaining how this thing work than he gave us instruction to fix it. Trust me he was over call for more than 30 minutes to walkthrough with this minor fix. Once he explained us everything he was sure our heat will be fine but again he said if this will not work for us than we can call him back and he will visit to fix the issue. However we were able to fix the thing as directed by him and we called him back in the morning to thank him. In addition we requested if he want to charge us for consulting or something and he just said this is the time we need heat and he just want to make sure we have that at home during these days. We insisted him to charge us something but he just said treat it as Christmas gift from him and sometime in future if we will need any help with any fixing or repairs of service just remember him. I just can’t explain how we felt with his this gesture of being kind to us and our situation. Please give these guys a chance to fix your furnace issues and you will be overwhelmed with the service.
