I go here for volleyball and it’s a great gym

went to junior high and highschool here. teachers are a hit or miss, usually a miss. Most of them have a superiority complex where they can't seem to respect students and treat them like human beings. the building was old and gross, though they're undergoing major renovations as of 2015-16. Computer technology courses and fine arts classes are not bad though.

Teachers here are rude and racist. Would not recommend.

In Junior high someone stole my saxophone and the music teacher framed me for it. Told her to check the security cameras apparently they “didn’t work”. She didn’t let me go into band in eighth grade, not ninth either. Then high school came along and the high school band teacher wouldn’t let me into music because “I didn’t have the experience in Junior high”, despite telling him I played piano for eight years.Now I’m probably the only person from this school who moved (to Toronto) and became a musician.In hind sight, when I was young I actually bought that I could be denied from band because the teacher said it was “too full”. Now I realize no kid should be fed that.I have been a composer, session producer, writer for major labels and got a diploma in Electronic Music Production. I’m putting that there so these teachers stop belittling kids that want to enrol in classes. It’s your job to teach.

This school gets 2 stars at best. ELA could use a more laid back teacher. Fit for life foods and Design studies are fun. The school could give less homework and some teachers there have a superiority complex.

It's a good and pleasant school. The problem is that some professors don't know how to respect their students' feelings. I believed that my children would be accepted even though they were from a different nation when I originally enrolled them in this school, but I was mistaken. That they don't know how to respect others is really unfortunate. When my child initially returned home crying, I chose to disregard the situation. I even made an effort to inspire him. Teachers are expected to model kindness and respect for others for their students, and a second parents but they are incapable of doing so themselves. I sincerely believed and trust this school to taught my kids in good manners, but the reality is much different. So sad…..God Blessed all the professor..

This school was okay. I attended from grades 7-9 and felt really meh about the whole ordeal. Teachers can either be really good or god awful, the majority being god awful. But the good teachers will change you forever. The school was clean for the most part and was inviting. Kids attending this school are generally really weird: super athletic or lazy, no in-between; artsy or dramatic; and in general pretty rude. The administration was pretty good, but it felt like only one of them actually cared. I also heard from some student that they made them change their review because it reflected badly on the school. So you're dealing with that here.Overall: Meh teaching with some really good parts; rude students; huge emphasis on athletics and theater, with academics pushed to the side and never really cared about; religion classes get weird very quickly.Closing: 1.5/5 if you want your kids to get good physical education and develop their skills in the arts, Louis is for them. If your kid likes to learn and read, take them to a different school who will actually do something for them.

It’s a alright school, nothing special, needs to work on getting better staff and options, also needs to work on the amount of homophobia that passes through with no sort of penalty’s

Its okay, some of the teachers are definitely better than others. The IB program is okay, it would be better if physics IB was added to the options. Junior high is decent. The language teachers are great. Math teachers are great. Science could use some work when having engaging teachers. Covid procedure is decent. Although the phone policy seems unfair. I would TOTALLY recommend this school for anyone (even the ones that have special needs like i do) if you want to attend somewhere with an affectionate, caring, friendly and a safe environment for students. I am on the autism spectrum and i had attended LSL for Grades 7-12 and LSL felt EXACTLY like HOME because of it’s affectionate, caring, friendly and safe environment. All of the teachers and assistants that teach at LSL are extremely welcoming, friendly, affectionate, devoted and supportive towards each and every student that attends LSL.And if you stumble upon any negative reviews about LSL while you check out the reviews of this school, PLEASE DO NOT pay attention to those reviews or believe what they are really saying about this school. What those reviews are actually saying about this school are WRONG and make no sense whatsoever.
