Favorite local yarn store. Nothing like having a knowledgeable person to guide you through your projects and the extra effort to get what you envision.

Knitting needles recommended are awesome, perfect , are a dream to knit with compared to grey type I had.Best needles ,, once yu have a knitting time with these you will never use any others.Awesome service, caring individual,,, thank you ever so much!!! I started knitting as soon as I got those needles home.

Karen is very helpful and friendly. She has a lot of wonderful wools and yarns to choose from.

Nice little speciality shop. They didn't have what we were looking for, but the woman working there (possibly the owner) was more than happy to talk to my mom and offer some advice. It was much appreciated.

Excellent persononalized service with a specific project worked out in detail. Good reference material given to learn the magic loop technique. Gorgeous supply of wools. Result? One very happy knitter and now a loyal customer! Highly recommend this store.

Amazing service. I live in BC and was able to reach out to Karen at Grey Heron and she was able to facilitate a purchase and local delivery.Fabulous service has eased my mind that Grandma can keep herself busy knitting while practicing self isolation. Thanks Again Karen. You are a rockstar!!!

So disappointed! This was my second time in this store (first time was just as disappointing) and there was no customer service!No one even acknowledged my presence in the store or even offered me any help.I had to say “Have a great day” upon leaving the store and was glared at rudely.So much for supporting a local business. I won’t be back a third time.In response to the owner's response:And I'm sorry that you didn't feel that a potential customer was worth a pause in your conversation about a plane crash that happened the night before. There were three people in your store, you, another lady and myself. I was in your store long enough to listen to your conversation, slowly browse both sides of your store and my husband entered your store when I was done browsing and being ignored. Less than five seconds to say Hi" or "Can I help you? and this review would have been positive.I was looking for a local source of yarn to use as I crochet for many charities and as well sell crochet items.The owness is not on the customer to ensure they receive good customer service. Own what happened today abd maybe implement some changes to ensure future customers are not disregarded. Do not put the owness on me!"
