Top Level Taekwondo & Martial Arts Academy Ontario

I’m commenting on their summer camp program. Very disappointed with this program. They don’t follow the calendar of events at all. Every day we would ask how the kids enjoyed the activity posted on the calendar and every time they had not done that activity. I thought fridays were movie days but they actually watch movies every day. The movies are inappropriate for the younger kids. They pull up Netflix kids and let the kids choose what they want to watch. TLT supervise kids from ages 4-12 so all of the television programs they watch need to be suitable for the youngest children there- 4 yr olds. Avatar and Spider-Man are not appropriate for 4 yr olds. After my child had nightmares from the shows they were watching i did provide them with some suggestions of age appropriate shows that they could use that would be suitable for the younger kids but also interesting for the older ones. They were suggestions, not demands. I just wanted age-appropriate shows for my kids.I had no idea what my kids were doing during the day as the young woman watching the kids at pick up only started at 3 and didn’t know what they did with the kids throughout the day. I suggested that to improve on this, the program could post a picture or video each day to show what they had been up to. Since removing my kids, I have enrolled my kids in Kicks For Kids and they post pictures and videos on their Instagram account daily which has been so helpful to us as parents.While my kids were at Top Level, 2 kids tested positive for COVID and no one was notified. I understand it’s not mandatory to notify but it would have been nice to keep the kids safe. They are not required to notify parents unless there is an outbreak but they were unsure as to what that number was that considered it an outbreak.Discipline was also an issue. When the younger kiddos got food dye on their hands after playing with slime while not being properly supervised, they took away all crafts for the younger kids for the rest of the week. When i asked what they would be doing with the kids instead of crafts, the staff had no idea. Pick up time is absolute chaos. The supervision just doesn’t seem adequate for the number of kids they enrol. These are were my personal issues with the camp after only a few weeks of the program. We have since enrolled the kids at Kicks for Kids where they have daily field trips, great communication, a positive supportive attitude and are much happier.Do not recommend TLT.

My son, Brett, attended Top Level for more than three years achieving his black and white belt before we moved out of Halton Region. Master Hanson and Master Sousa were both fantastic with him for his entire taekwondo experience. If you are looking for an activity for your child, I highly recommend you consider sending her or him to TLT.

We love TLT! They are amazing with the kids and our 7 yr old son loves it! We just went from 2 x per week to 3! They are always encouraging the kids with positive motivation! The facility is also extremely clean and I am confident in their new covid safe protocols! Keep up the great work TLT

Every aspect of this business screams professional. I’m amazed at the dedication from the instructors. Attending one class as a guest I was blown away to see the discipline this school was instilling in the students they were teaching. The kids seemed focused and tuned in to the lessons they were being taught. The best part about it was all the smiles on the kids faces while they were partaking in the classes. What a great way to shape the young future of tomorrow. These teachers are truly working wonders and doing an incredible job. Keep up the amazing work !!!

Where do I start? This is the most amazing martial arts facility!! Since starting camp last year my son has fallen in love with Taekwondo and all the masters and instructors at top level!! He loved it so much we enrolled him in the after school program and sparring classes he even has come back to camp for a second year!! When I say my son loves top level that would be an understatement!! The instructors and staff are so amazing and easy to work with, they are amazing with all the kids and are as accommodating as possible!! I would highly recommend top level to anyone!! Top level is more than just a training facility it is a family!! If I could give 10 stars I would and even then it still wouldn’t be enough stars ⭐️ Highly recommend

Excellent program that offers taekwondo classes for all ages. My kids enjoy it as it is different lesson everytime which builds on their prior knowledge. It is also located in a busy plaza. Parking is sometimes packed but you can always find it. Plaza has many other shopping and resturants. It is next to ethic supermarket so I do grocery while kids are in their classes.Overall, the management is super nice and very accommodating. Instructors are professionals who give respect to all kids regardless of age. They make the environment safe and acceptable for all people.

Very professional martial art school. Masters are very professional and patient. Clean environment and friendly atmosphere. My son enjoys his every class and get improvement. Specifically Master Daniel and instructor Julian are super talented and I am sure in coming years TLT will grow exponentially

Enrolling our son into Taekwondo at Top Level Taekwondo & Martial Arts was one of the best choices we’ve made for him. TLT has helped our son come out of his shell more and boost his confidence level. The staff (ALL OF THEM) are so friendly and welcoming. They help each child with their individual weakness (not only in Taekwondo but also day to day life).We love that each class has different drills in order to keep the children engaged and having fun (some drills provide entertainment for the parents to watch as well…lol).I would 100% recommended TLT to anyone!

Such a wonderful taekwondo club ! My son has much more energy confidence and respect and balance since joining in 2021.The Masters /Instructors are Inspiring and leading such a great group.Each class the Master brings so much energy and passion /technique , Can’t wait to put my 3.5 yr old into the tiny tigers class i literally can’t say enough good things about TOPLEVEL !!5 star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommend
