Barney's Automotive and Signature Tire

We were visiting Whistler when we noticed our brakes started squeaking. We gave this shop a call and they kindly offered to have a look at our brakes within the hour. Really nice people and I highly recommend them!

The gents at Barney's were absolutely superb! I called in the hopes they might be able to help me with a snapped off mudflap hanging low in front of the wheel and scraping with every divot in the road. Although busy, they invited me to come by that same day to take a look. I was lucky enough to have Josh help me out immediately, and he even fixed the flap back in place instead of the easier job of just removing it! Done super fast and efficiently, and Josh was an absolute gem of a human being! Highly recommend Barney's, they've always done a brilliant job!

Got a flat that couldn't be taken off the car because the dealership we bought the (very pricey) vehicle from in Texas didn't give us the proprietary tool needed to get the locking lug nut off. I called the dealership to get advice . They had none to give and couldn't have cared less about our situation. Barney's, on the other hand, jumped on our dilemma, showed amazing compassion and customer service, and solved our problem within 24 hours, including shipping in parts and a new tire. Josh was exceptional in his communication, research, and can-do customer service. 5-stars for this crew. They are exceptional and a godsend to those stranded thousands of miles from home.

The engine oil of the rental car I rented yesterday was very low, so I was worried about traveling far away. Josh checked the engine oil right away and supplemented it, so we can have a safe trip.

Our family had some brake issues with our truck after traveling HWY 99. The staff at Barney’s were able to get our vehicle addressed on short notice. We really appreciate the kind and helpful customer service.

This place is an amazing repair shop. Scott saved my vacation when my truck wouldn’t start. They got me in and found out my diesel had jelled up. They worked on it as fast as they can even going past closing time until it was fixed. Got us back on the road so we could make it home for Christmas. Thanks Barney’s. We were visiting from out of town and got a flat tire. We were leaving the next day. No other auto shop was willing to fix it in the short time frame. Barney’s was! It was so nice of them to make time to fix the tire during such a busy tire changing season. The fixed tire kept the air the entire trip back. Thank you! :)

Barney’s are great, they are my go-to in town for car servicing/issues. I know I can rely on them, I can always call them up when I have an issue (which has been a few times recently) and they always fit me in or encourage me to come to the shop as soon as possible so they can have a look at the issue. I get all my regular servicing done there as well. Recently I had an issue with my windscreen wipers not working so they told me to come in and it turned out to be an easy fix. I dealt with Josh who was great and had me out of there in under 5 minutes. 10/10 would recommend Barney’s for reliable friendly service :)
