The buttermilk chicken was juicy and crispy! The portions sizes are reasonable and also think they are big enough to share with another person honestly, just be prepared for a very long queue as you can easily wait 60 mins or more to get seated, was disappointed to find out when I ordered the the ice cream float it was served in a small plastic cup! I was surprised considering I paid nearly £5 and it didn’t even come in a glass cup.

Queue seemed long but moved quit quickly. Waited about 20 minutes for the table but worth the wait. The portions are massive for the price. We ordered the Mac and cheese balls, brisket donuts, the jalapeño poppers and the crab dirty boys. All were delicious, I think the Jalapeño poppers were the best I’ve ever had. I wish I could have gone with a larger group to have tried more on the menu. I also had a frozen daiquiri which was also delicious and didn’t taste too strong

Read this before visiting! So if you visit on weekend expect a long wait! We queued for approx hour! Once seated service was slow and we ordered took another 45mins before coming out! The portions are huge!! The PO boy sandwiches are filled and big enough for two people.Food wise the shrimp big pieces crispy buttermilk 3/5Wings again same butter milk batter 3/5 would preferred sauce over the wings with some garnish.Mac cheese balls are size of a tennis ball very dense 2.5/5PO boy chicken sandwichSame crispy batter huge pieces chicken. The sauce dips where great would like to see some gravy on menu to accompany the sandwiches as the batter gets to dry!I would recommend one portion fries between two people and don’t order everything with butter milk seasoning all tastes the same. Overall average food wouldn’t be in a rush to return. Not worth 2 hours wait!!

After seeing all the hype online I finally visited. We had to wait approximately 20 minutes in a queue. So be prepared to wait if your visiting at peak times like Saturday lunch time. The line was moving at a good pace.We were seated by a really friendly waitress she was lovely and warm, this restaurant should really be proud of their staff and their service. The food came out which was the followingFried shrimps : they were a good size but some were not de-veined which was a little off putting.Beef brisket doughnuts: they came out really fresh, hot and were tender and flavourful they were tastyChicken buttermilk tenders: nothing to rave about and was the same batter as the shrimpShrimp po boy : this has the same batter as the shrimps for startersBeef po boy : the beef was dry and not great (it was the lean beef)Overall the food has the same batter and the only thing I really enjoyed was the sauces and fries.Shrimps (starters) same batter as the chicken.Everything pretty much tasted the same.. I personally think it’s quite over priced for what you get. Overall we paid £105 for the whole meal although the portions are massive the food did not deliver which is unfortunate.

Great restaurant set by the canals in Kingston, very popular so expect to queue but food is very good and the place has a good atmosphere. Very friendly and helpful staff, happy to offer recommendations like the Mac and cheese balls which were excellent. Calamari was really good too and the fried pickles were extremely moreish! Frozen cocktails were good although not sure about the main cocktails which consisted of a small bottle of spirit stuck into a can of pop… Overall very good experience and would recommend.

So good! Portions are HUGE. One sandwich is easily enough for 2 people, unless you’re feeling really hungry. Bit pricey, but for the amount of food you get, I’d say it’s fair.To get in, there’s a long queue with a wait of around 30 min. We decided to order online and collect instead. Definitely a must try.Image:- Shrimp Poor Boy Sandwich- Chicken Poor Boy Sandwich

We loved the food, decor and atmosphere with this place. The brothers have delivered on their promise to serve up classic New Orleans and Regional American, offering a great menu of food and drink. We had the shrimp, chicken wings and the 12hour slow cooked beef brisket which tasted as good as how it was presented. We'll definitely be going back and remember to get their early to avoid the queues!

So good! Now I understand the massive queues in the evenings. The buttermilk chicken is beautifully tender with a crunchy coating with tasty seasoning. Not oily at all. Calamari was delicious. The BBQ brisket was mouthwateringly delicious. I'm not normally a fan of mac n cheese, but this was pretty good - al dente macaroni and a non-stodgy well-flavoured cheese sauce. Fries were good. We tried 4 of the sauces - Cajun mayo, honey mustard, Louisiana hot, and Texan BBQ - they were all tasty. Loved the root beer float - made me feel like a kid again.Service was friendly and helpful. We came on a Wednesday afternoon after the lunch rush. It was still busy inside, but there was plenty of outdoor seating.
