So many gluten free options it’s amazing!!Fantastic tequila assortment, try the Oaxaca old fashioned!Al pastor y Barbarcoa tacos are so worth the share. For the guard trio.. I could eat it for dinner on my own.. but sharing is nice too.

El Santo Mexican Restaurant in New Westminster is a fantastic departure from traditional food trucks. Despite my preference for mobile Mexican cuisine, I thoroughly enjoyed the super cool dining experience and fine dining atmosphere at El Santo. The staff was knowledgeable and eager to recommend menu items and tequila flights, adding to the overall excitement. If you're looking for a memorable Mexican dining experience, El Santo is a must-visit.

We just returned from a week in Vancouver and New Westminster. Our evening at Elsanto was an absolute highlight!!! The food was outstanding as was the presentation from our ultra professional server(I believe her name was Tracy). She took the time to explain every dish, the ingredients and the flavours. We decided to try the tasting menu and I highly recommend it! There was ample food and each dish was a culinary treat. We can’t wait to return! Thank you El Santo!!!!

We've moved to New Westminster and wanted to try some new local dining experiences. We were not disappointed. We started with Chips and Salsa and shared a Chile Releno. Their take on this dish was phenomenal. Its hard to describe the depth of flavors. And we couldn't help but watch various Taco dishes making their way to other tables. They looked amazing. Can't wait to try those next. Drink Selection is wicked too. Service was top notch. Coming back soon!

This is a cool spot in downtown New West that serves some tasty Mexican food and has a generous happy hour. Just a note that their late night happy hour menu is different than their afternoon happy hour menu. Late night has more focus on drinks and afternoon has more focus on food.The food is tasty, and has good flavour. I did find the ceviche a bit on the salty side though.They have an extensive drinks menu and lots of variety of appetizers available - definitely a good spot to check out if you’re in the area.

Looked at Google menu pictures before we went, I guess we had too much expectations. We ordered the wagyu flank steak. It was overcooked and served first without any side plates and utensils. We complained it and they brought us a new dish. (The picture below, still not a medium rare, we got $10 off) The pork was pretty good, tender and tasty. Overall, the servers were really kind and the atmosphere was good.

Al Pastor, al pastor, al pastor!The most delicious Al Pastor Taco!From the Service, Drink and Tacos they were all excellent!Came by on a Saturday night, right away I was greeted with a smile and I was lucky enough that they accommodated a seat for me. Place was lively and busy as expected, reservation recommended.Awesome spot to bring your friends for some tacos and drinks in the heart of New Westminster!

I enjoyed the decor and ambiance of the place, making it perfect for date nights and get-togethers. The appetizers, particularly the Pan de elote, were decent, although the portion size felt small. The tacos were delicious, and I highly recommend them. The zero alcohol drinks were flavorful and enjoyable. To top it off, the churros made for a delightful dessert. Overall, it was a great experience.

Nice place, it has a colorful Mexican modern decoration. Tasty food, special shot out to the barbacoa taco and the guacamole trio. I did not feel the passion fruit juice was freshly squeezed though. Staff friendly and very accurate with the menu information.

Awesome chef's tasting menu. Highly recommend to do family style or do a table of the chef's tasting. The beef dishes are incredible. The rockfish was unexpectedly amazing. All the dishes were fantastic and it's definitely worth it!
