A warm, welcoming and cute indie bookstore in old port. The owner is welcoming, and recommended some great reads. If you are an Octavia Butler fan, you have found your tribe here. I was very happy about the fact that this bookstore has mostly BIPOC authors - both celebrated and the lesser known ones here in the west. This store is such a cultural trip, and I loved it. Will definitely return to shop from here.

Great little bookstore with a wonderfully specific curated collection of indigenous stories, middle eastern tales, Octavia’s world, records, magazines, and a little library reading corner. Additionally, they have a great kids book section if you want to introduce your kids to some important topics. Beautiful little escape from the grey day.

Really chill atmosphere. Eastern decoration with red carpet and beautiful cushions.Best selling Arabic and Persian books which are translated in English. Like Perspolis, pules aux prunes,...Love to go there another time as well.

This is a wonderful bookstore specializing in BIPOC writers with an excellent curated selection of non-fiction and fiction. Very knowledgeable staff, and very friendly and helpful (they've read everything in there). Worth the visit. Found some books I've been looking for that were out of stock elsewhere, and some new authors I now love.

What a wonderful visit! Sondos and her lovely collection of books are a delight to check out if you’re near old port. It was great speaking to someone with a deep appreciation and insight on middle eastern culture and aesthetic. I highly recommend the visit!
