I used to regularly stop in at the Guelph ReStore, but I rarely ever buy anything, as I find the prices extremely high for a second hand shop! (Especially for furniture.) Wouldn't it be better to keep the prices more reasonable and turn the stock over quicker??? I am definitely at the point of giving up on this ReStore altogether!

This is the place to go to in Guelph for used furniture. Good selection of used dressers, beds, and a few upholstered pieces, all at reasonable prices. They have the warehouse space for these large items that the local thrift stores just don't have. Unlike other ReStores, however, this one doesn't carry books or dishes, etc.

I was extremely disappointed when I walked in to Habitat for Humanity and mississauga.. I seen a light a pendulum light that was going for $250 brand new in habitat The previous year I purchased the same pendulent light for 29. 95 This was a discontinued light fixture at home depot the previous year

Great selection. Very fair prices. I got a black leather like adjustable office chair, that was like new for $15. Would have been $80 in any store.

The quality of the second hand merchandise is not very good, nor is the selection. I think it would help to have a campaign to encourage more donations of building materials and supplies as well as furniture and appliances.

Better place for those who is ok with used items, some time you should get better furniture in affordable price and lot of miscellaneous house hold items available. I found some prices quite high, for good looking furniture which is donated by someone. Management should control on rates as it is non profitable and customers are only those who really need it in affordable price.Overall good place for community and specially for new immigrants and migrated who is starting new life in this town.

It's been forever since I've set foot in this store, thankful for this visit. Mostly used donated items in good condition, however if you look around there's plenty of brand new finds as well. Shhhhh, keep it our little secret. Hehehe!

Seen some items in this location price fair for used item one week. I return the next week and the same item that was price at $20 the week before is now priced at $80. Most of the items in this location you can buy new for a lower price at walmart or home depot.

Staff are nice, but some questionable management decisions. Prices are high, in fact I found a number of prices above retail for used goods. 200 screen doors with ripped screens, Ikea shelves for sale at the same price as new, single cupboard doors for $20, Canadian Tire dining room chairs for $50 ($40 new) ...Call before you donate. Strapped doors to my car and loaded it up with heavy boxes of tiles and was told they didn't want either. I was surprised that they turned down my stuff because in a quick walk through the store I found a number of in stock items in much worse shape than what I was donating. Freshly painted modern doors with polished handles is what I brought, and the doors they had too many of were old, dented and oddly sized.Suggestion to management: blow out old, crappy stock to make room for new stuff. Give stuff away for free rather than throwing goods out, that might attract more customers in to buy other stuff. High prices keep sales down, inventory doesn't move, and you miss opportunities by turning away donations. Turning away a single donation may result in loss of all future donations from that patron (and people they talk to and share their experiences with).

Excellent selection of used items. The prices are very fair, and the staff are kind, friendly and helpful. I always enjoy looking around here. A great place to save a buck if you are renovating. If you are in university you HAVE to check this place out for furniture.
