Bark & Fitz

I visited Bark & Fitz for the first time on the weekend and was very happy with the service. The sale associate that helped me on my first visit was very helpful and friendly. Although, it was just her 6th day with the store, she made me very comfortable with what I was buying for my first puppy. I didn't get her name but I was very happy with her service and thankful for her help.I would definitely go back!

We’ve been shopping here since we adopted our dog and we absolutely love it! The staff are all super welcoming and knowledgeable. They are very willing to share advice and recommendations but are never pushy about selling anything. We also bring our dog here for grooming and they’re super accommodating to her little quirks. If you have a pet, you should definitely shop here and bring your dog by for a little treat ☺️

Every time I shop here, I leave with an amazing experience. The shop owners spend so much individual time with me and inquire about my needs. They give me enough space to browse on my own, but also offer me one-on-one time and answer all of my questions. The show genuine interest in the needs of my dog and try to find products that will be the best for her. They also offer free samples which I really appreciate. Because of their samples of Open Farm, I have found a food that my dog loves and can digest properly. I will never go to another store because I feel like each customer and dog deserves the care and attention given by a store like Bark and Fitz.

This store has everything one may need for their pets under one roof. The store is much larger than it appears from the outside. The new owners are super knowledgable and passionate about pet health which is reflected in the selection of the pet food they carry. Their pet toys are reasonably priced. Overall, shopping here was an awesome experience due to the wide selection and extremely helpful staff. Last but not there least, these cookies are a reason in themselves for one to go here -

WARNING ! THINK TWICE ABOUT TAKING YOUR BELOVED PET HERE.I took my pappilion/pomeranian mix dog in for a grooming appt. Discussed clearly with the groomer to simply tidy up the extra fluff , do not shave her. She showed me the bit of extra fluff that she would trim.We agreed, and I left our sweet little girl, who was already nervous, in the hands of what I was led to believe was a qualified groomer.When I went to pick up my dog, she was no longer looking like her breed at all !! Instead, I got a dog that now looked like a Sheba. I was devastated as was my son and could not believe how closely cut?" our little dog was.....Or did she shave her. What a mess.They groom doodles and poodles quite well but Justine had not a clue on how to do a Papillon/Pomeranian mix of dog.Instead of owning her error

The gals at Bark and Fitz were great. It took 2 of them to cut Coopers nails! We will be back!

This is my first time leaving a review on Google.But I felt I needed to let everyone know what a fantastic groomer(pet stylist) Justine is!I have never had Tucker look as adorably cut from past grooms with other groomers.Everything about Justine’s way is the best!

I highly recommend this place for all your dogs needs! They are always so kind and helpful! And they do a fantastic job grooming Beanie!!

A great Big Shout Out to the staff, Management and Owner for the wonderful service. I was looking for a specific Shedrow K9 dog coat in size large. This store had one in stock. They went out of their way to ship the coat to me as I live in Eastern Ontario a few hours away from Oakville. Thank you to one and all who made this happen for me! Great Service!
