Highway 99 super busy? Stuck in traffic, raging, and need an out to decompress? Put this place in your GPS and swing by.Quiet, very little traffic to get to, and you can watch planes take off and land if you get lucky.It’s a great little park if, like me, you just need off the road for a little bit.

This is a great place to visit as you can watch private and often vintage aircraft come and go.Parking is free and along with the visual experience while you enjoy the aircraft, you can get some exercise on the walking and riding path along the ocean.

I was on a hike from Watershed park down to Centennial Beach, and had run quite low on water.I stopped in at Mary's place and the gentlemen there allowed me to fill up my water bottles and were very polite.Thanks so much for the kindness!
