Everything with the Hillsboro Funeral home and the funeral director was amazing. They went above and beyond when we had to say goodbye to my grandfather and we will be forever grateful how easy they made it. The funeral director was always there to answer any questions and help anyway he could. Our whole family highly recommends this funeral home, even though it's not a place where any of us wants to be. Thank you to all the staff for everything!

Shawn and the entire staff are exceptional. I recently lost my dad and Shawn went above and beyond to take care of everything and left us with such a feeling of peace in such a difficult time. We are forever grateful for the care and compassion. Always available with any questions we had at anytime. Its a very difficult thing to go through but they made it easrier and made us feel important. I would highly recommend Hillsboro Funeral Home .

I called Shawn at Hillsboro Funeral Home and it was like everything was so organized to perfection. Very helpful to our families in a time of difficult loss. We have used Hillsboro Funeral Home for both my mother in-law’s and father in-law’s passing. Dealing with the director was a great pleasure. They were very accommodating, helpful and compassionate to the needs of the family. Life is complicated by the pandemic these days, but we were able to have a nice funeral and viewing within the protocols.

The funeral director is very elegant and doesn't seem sincere, I had wanted to also be on the board but I didn't have a high paying job, I had shares I asked for back, u can just guess, no way. I mentioned to another funeral director that I was going to try again, he said good luck.. He won't give it back.. There are a lot of lower income people that need this service and it is just not right, anyone should be able to help..

Vince and everyone there has been really good helping in taking care of all the details and stayed in contact with the family. They never tried to upsell anything, were accommodating, and all around wonderful. My father took care of all the finances before he passed so I cannot comment on their prices.

From our first meeting with Shawn, every detail was so organized, and it was a relief that everything was taken care of. They truly guide you through the process, and were professional and respectful in every interaction. They were patient with us and our questions. Both Shawn and Diane were incredible, and we are so grateful to them and their team.
