We arrived after supper to be informed that the comfort station and toilets were closed for the day!!! Not the place to stay if your using a conversion van, pop up camper or anyting that doesn't have a full shower/bathroom in it.The comfort station is out of the park and in the community of Lumsden . If we had of know this we never would have booked here. This is the first park in all our travels where we were unable to shower after 4pm - note despite paying near $30 for the site you also have to pay to shower - after you drive to get there.Nice beach - nice swimming area - all the park staff were friendly. Just not a great set up for our needs.

Beautiful beach, excellent service. The only downfall is the showers, laundry and dumping station is up the road , not in the park.

Fantastic location. Fantastic staff. Great private drive thru lots. The beach and pond are very close, and the local town is just 3 km away and has a fantastic beach also. Locals are super friendly. Cell coverage is spotty so bring your booster and you will be fine. A definite stop for RVing in NL.

Wonderful campground, very nice campsites, with a lovely pond with a rope around the shallow area for kids to swim, and also a great beach just beyond with impressive breakers. Bring your surfboard! The comfort station has clean and pleasant bathrooms and showers, but it is in town a few miles away. The comfort station also has wifi!

One of the most beautiful locations on the island. On the downside there are few amenities, no quiet hours and generators may run 24 hours a day on unserviced lots. On one stay, the park manager ran the generator for his personal trailer constantly just to keep his air conditioner going.

Windmill Bight Municipal RV Park
This has to be one of the most scenic places I have ever been.With friendly, helpful staff, beautiful sand beaches, ocean swimming, fresh water swimming and great campsites, this park is a great place for the whole family. Laundry and shower facilities are just a few minutes away in Lumsden.This will be a regular stop for my family!
