I am not one to complain, however, this needs to be said about this place. I have been travelling through the Buctouche area for over 35 years and have never had an experience like this. The chicken was always good, what happened on Sunday. The chicken was over cooked, like someone had changed the recipe or refried it twice. I could not eat a single piece. Threw it in the garbage. Absolutely terrible. My ticket number was A-52641. You should send me a credit.

Fast and friendly bilingual service. The place was very busy and everyone was observing distancing and masking protocols. For less than $20 we had a very enjoyable meal. Their chicken always tastes great and never a long wait for the food!

If i could get a -5 i would put it i orderd chicken with poutine never got my poutine i asked for a refund they said no we dont do refund what a joke bunch of dumass if i were you guys i would stay away from there

I have to admit I am torn as a write this...probably the best chicken I have had from any Doxie Lee...crispy and juicy. ...so a 5 for food quality.The place where it it fell apart was service. I know retial is suffering post covid, but I waited in the lobby as 6 people who ordered after me got their meals and only after I asked was I asked what I ordered...they had forgot/lost my order. So they quickly made my order, only now after I got back to the AirBNB did I realize they only gave me half the order. I went back again and they completed the order. They did not offer a discount n apology or to redo a hot order....just gave me my missing food...the whole experience from end to end was 1.5 hrs from order to eating for fast food...and one hot and one cold meal was what we got.

Third time i arrive over an hour before closing. After comming to this specific location due to its famed reputation. I Wait 10 mins in line to be told they have NO MORE CHICKEN. How can a chicken restaurant REFUSE to cook items for paying customers. This is ABSOLUTELY ridiculous!!!! If your going to remain open. Then SELL PRODUCT!!!!!

It's got the standard Dixie Lee taste, it's in a nice location but the workforce there is mostly always mediocre. There are a few times you can catch the staff messing around and not being too on the ball. Your order may be different sometimes too. The inside could be cleaner. But I'd say if you want to eat some good poutines and chicken then that's the place in town for it.

The staff was not wearing masks... of they did put one on it was just over their chin.... food was pretty gross too! They need to change their deep fry oil!

I would give it a 0 star if I could. $75 for soggy fries, over cooked chicken on the burger, asked for the chicken burger to be all dressed and there wasn't anything on it...just the burger and bun...just all around gross food. We threw half of it out as it was not edible. Do not recommend until management does something to improve the quality.
