The software does what it's meant for, the more clients you add the more it costs, and it is very easy to use. I would have given them a better rating but my last experience with support was not good, the so called Support Rockstar" was rude and did not offer a solution/workaround to my problem."

Freshbooks is charging in USD, it is not clear anywhere on the main web page, actually when I was on the phone with the support rep, he could not find it either. It's misleading. If you are proud for a Toronto based company charging in USD... make a headline on your website PRICES ARE IN USD!" But obviously you wont. It's a shame as I wanted to support a local company but when they mislead you and offer nothing for it

I have used Freshbooks for 3 years to run my growing business - the cost is much higher than comparable services, and is charged in USD despite being a Canadian company. The mobile app is basically useless if you are trying to put together complex estimates, or invoices. I've never had their banking integration successfully import a credit card statement, and the best solution they could come up with was a one time offer that they'd manually enter it for me. Every time I invoice a new customer, my invoice gets flagged as spam - no solution has been offered. Their customer support email and phoneline are only available on weekdays, meaning I've spent multiple weekends unable to send estimates or invoices when I have service issues. I wish I could continue to support a local company, but they keep charging me a premium price to make me look bad.

Shady company, I cannot trust my confidential information. My clients started getting calls & emails because they use my info from invoices to contact them for their own business profit. Don't fall for this.

I am so tired of Freshbooks. Our company has been with them from nearly day one we tested many new features as we are a development company and due to their issues it has cost us new jobs, as our clients lost faith in our programming ability due to Freshbook's constant issues, and we still stayed loyal. Then today we have 2 very large clients wanting to pay our deposit to start jobs and our account say something is wrong and we can't log in and their support doesn't work on weekend? REALLY? a company that deals with payments processing and companies invoices cant work weekends what a joke!!!!!!!!!

I tried using FreshBooks as an alternative to QuickBooks for 3 months. I hoped I could use it for payroll but since that has to go through another app (Gusto) I decided against it. It was alright software and easy to set up for a small business. Some of my clients were hesitant to pay through FreshBooks and therefore opted out. Finally, I decided to go back to QuickBooks because it was what my customers were familiar with.My problem only started when I went to cancel my subscription. I called and they were unavailable even though it was during their office hours. I sent an email and got a response that they were sorry I wanted to cancel and that I wait and contact them later if I actually wanted to cancel. I responded I DID want to cancel and received no response. I followed up via email a few days later, no response. I just called again after I received yet another charge for my FreshBooks account and left another message. As this escalates, my stars and review of FreshBooks software will have to deescalate...unfortunately.

This company is a scam. It is impossible to cancel your account. There is no way to do it from inside your account settings. I have tried to email them since 3 months ago from the email they tell you to use to cancel your account. No response.It is also way overpriced. Extremely upset and have not used their software far 2 years and lost over $2000 because it’s impossible to close account.

Do not use this accounting software.It’s riddled with bugs and they have no clue how to fix it. I’m one of the unlucky ones who got caught up in a new version roll over and am now slowly picking up the pieces and starting from scratch with a different accounting software.They have decent customer service but it’s frustrating listening to people stick up for a product that they clearly know is inferior to the old platform, and they have no answers.
