Probably my favourite sandwich in the city! I know this is quite the claim but I’m not exaggerating.Got the stuffed jerk chicken sandwich which comes with jerk chicken and coleslaw that is placed in a sliced open beef patty which is all placed inside a coco bread.The jerk chicken is nice and juicy with that incredible jerk spice and the coleslaw adds a nice creamy texture. The coco bread is nice and soft as well, while the patty part adds a subtle additional texture.I asked for spicy but it wasn’t really spicy but I’m not complaining!Overall, I very highly recommend picking up this sandwich.

AMAZING!! Loaded patty (jerk meat with coleslaw) and jerk pork pictured. I prefer the juicier softer jerk chicken. Cash only, very affordable, no seating. Everything under $10

Food is really, really tasty. Once ordered it is prepared relatively quickly. The curry chicken was moist and mild with great flavor. The jerk was quite spicy... quite... but was also tender and juicy. So, full marks for the food. Stars deducted for cash only" operation (-1) and the less than good dine-in area (-1)."

First time visit to Allwyn'sReasonably priced jerk pork sandwich ($6.85) with coleslaw was good...the coco bread stole the show!Patties are great...follow the staff recommendations for the beef vs chicken patties. Will visit again.

Second time I've ordered the large jerk pork meal on uber. The meal description says it comes with gravy and I've only ever received completely dry rice & pork. I even asked for extra gravy and got nothing. It was absolutely dry...It's also not an option buy gravy anywhere on the menu ~ does it even exist?

This place could be called a hole in the wall, the spots that aren’t the most appealing but have the best food you can find in the neighbourhood. The food makes it a great spot for some Caribbean food done justice. Not the coziest interior or seating area but that’s how you know it’s going to be good. The prices are a little much, especially for oxtail which is the cheapest cut of meat or is supposed to be. Overall, if you’re coming by for some curry chicken or a good bite to eat this spot can make the rotation.

OMG! Fantastic Carribean Food!!! The jerk chicken wings are so good, the ox tail is so tender and flavourful! Rice and peas and coleslaw is good! Vegetarian Roti was amazing!The jerk pork stuffed sandwich was so tasty. I have been going to Allwyn’s for over 8 years. So Good!! Give it a try!!

Worst jerk chicken experience ever. No ox tail gravy at all. No hot sauce. It was like eating unseasoned chicken with coleslaw & rice & peas. Never again.
