Brighton Gate Restaurant
If you are driving the 401 near Brighton, blow past the McDonalds and head to this quaint restaurant surrounded by farmland and rolling hills. We were not expecting much given the remote location but the food was fresh, DELICIOUS, and the staff was super friendly. The salads had deep green, fresh crisp lettuces, the chicken was tender and the vegetable curry was tasty. Everything was made fresh. Definitely worth a pit stop on a long drive!

Over $30 for two poutines…. Order wasn’t correct. Food wasn’t good. Would not pay for it again. (Not sure how you mess up two poutines…lol) I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant unfortunately.

Stopped in here for brunch (1130) Sunday morning. Wasn’t very busy at all. We chose to eat inside in case the wind continued to pick up + as mentioned it was pretty quiet.We enjoyed a couple smoked salmon eggs Benedict, a bacon eggs Benedict and a class poached eggs breakfast.Service was great + attentive.Great breakfast spot + decent amount of options (which is always nice). They do have a gluten free bun as well (bonus) however, whether the potatoes were or not (we definitely should have asked, so something to note).Overall great Sunday morning!

Brighton Gate Restaurant
Just left this place and it was wonderful! I had a pesto chicken wrap with a fresh salad. Yum! Service was great! We sat outside on the patio and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the view! We even had impromptu entertainment by another customer who sang opera... beautiful! I recommend giving this place a try if you haven't.

Very nice little restaurant with a great view. Also has a patio which would be nice in the summer. Food was freshly prepared and was delicious. My husband had a Cuban sandwich and I had chicken fingers with sweet potato waffle fries. Chicken fingers were great, waffle fries were overcooked for my liking. Look forward to trying their breakfast menu. We sat by a window and found it a little cold.

Ordered a basic breakfast with medium poached eggs. Was told ready in 15 minutes, showed up after 20 minutes and still had to wait an additional 10 to get my food. Come home, and my eggs are barely cooked. It’s like they gave them a poach for 35 seconds and called it a day. In the process of separating egg yolks from my fruit to fry these eggs up. Wish me luck.

Amazing service, friendly people and good fresh food! Very clean and organized. They allow dogs at the patio ❤️. I recommend to stop here on your route.

Brighton Gate Restaurant
It was the best fish and chips I have eaten so far in Ontario. Super crispy, light and fresh. I loved the fries. They were crunchy.

Brighton Gate Restaurant
I will preface this with, it appeared there were 2 waitresses and 1 cook. Stopped here on a Saturday for an early supper. We were seated quick and drinks and food order were taken rapidly. We waited 35 mins with no follow up service and got up to leave. The waitress stopped us saying our food is coming out. We waited an additional 5 mins and took our order to go. The club and pulled pork sandwiches were only OK and we received fries where we ordered onions rings.
