Came there after recommendation from one of Indonesian students and I really love it!People are right, the best beef rendang I've tried. Duck with sambal matah also very nicely done but I prefer with their sambal terasi. Definitely love their beef brochettes too.Come back soon!

Was looking for somewhere to get rijsttafel in Montreal. Saw on Yelp that it is here but was not listed on menu. They were perfectly willing to accommodate my request, and did not disappoint. Very tasty offering. The waiter was very friendly. The atmosphere was nothing special, but all in all a very enjoyable dining experience.

I had the Bakmie Goreng, let me just say it was flat and uninspiring. The plate was lukewarm, tasted like it was heated a unevenly in a microwave.

Really enjoyed the food here. Very flavourful. We had a platter with a mix of different dishes. Enjoyed everything we ate.

This restaurant is legit! We're glad this restaurant exist since my wife, who is Indonesian, craves certain dishes and this place brings her back to home :)

The food presentation was awesome and it was delicious specially the Sati . Service was good and the place was clean. I highly recommend this place for Indonesia food lovers.

Finally I could visit gado gado last month.We ordered few dishes for share and the waiter suggested me to try boneless fried duck.We started with soto ayam and some appetizers. We really loved the dendeng and dumpling reminded me of lemper ayam.Fried duck was amazing, perfect seasoned and I could smell and taste the spices also easy to eat (shared, I'm Indonesian but I like to use fork and spoon at the restaurant), beef rendang was so goooooood, very tender and honestly I could eat only steamed rice and the sauce! Sate ayam was little bit different, I guess because they used white meat instead of brown and gulai kambing for sure made me asking for more steamed rice :) And don't forget to ask sambal terasi (spicy sauce).Too bad I can go to Montreal often but gado gado now is one of my favorite restaurants in Montreal.

Good Indonesian experience . Friendly staff , very reasonable price . There are not many options in menu very limited menu but the food is tasty .I will be visiting again soon.

Tasty food, and there was a rijsttafel special (for two) available the night we visited. But there's a big problem -- despite what they say on their website, the dishes are all prepared mild. If you want spicy, you are offered a sambal sauce or home-made hot sauce (very hot!) on the side. But connoisseurs know that this just doesn't cut it. If you want high-heat (i.e. authentic) Indonesian in Montreal, I guess you're out of luck until a few more places open up.
