Grainger Training Centre (Goalie and Player Hockey School)

We have been more than pleased with the training our son receives at Grainger! The goalie coaching staff are top notch and the facility is clean and well laid out. We would highly recommend trying Grainger, and feel it has been money well spent.

My son Mitch decided at 10 yrs old, to switch at the end of the season from a pretty good defenceman to goalie. Grainger was recommended to us. We started our journey with them. 2months later Mitch had his heart set on the Bulldogs. He was offered AP but decided to try out for Huskies. Made AA. He had 8 shutouts and won the 2nd terr champs (Along with an amazing goalie partner!). Next year made AAA. Grainger has guided, trained, and challenged Mitch all the way! There's a lot of hours put into practice and grinding it out with the same coaches. It says something about Grainger when your son is consistently ready to go and comes out smiling after a challenging practise! EXCEPTIONAL staff!! Booking flexible and quick to response. Very fortunate to be able to work with them.

Nick and all of the instructors at GGD are simply beyond first-rate. They know how to teach each young goalie individually, helping them develop the highest-level technical, mental, and emotional skills for the playing the position. What amazes me is that our son thinks about the instructors not just as coaches but members of the family. Our son is not only a better goalie because he's taught by Nick, Pat, Chris and Emily, he's becoming a better all-around person.

My son loves Nick, Pat, Chris and all the instructors at Grainger Goaltending. He has been doing goalie training at the school for 3 years and made the local AAA team in 2014/15. As a parent, I really love how they care about the kids and make each lesson fun and challenging at the same time.

My son has been attending Grainger Goalie school now for about 8 months. He is so enthusiastic about training and so excited when heading out to Grainger's. I would like to send out a special thanks to the instructors there that have made the hard job of being a goalie so enjoyable for my son.

At first, I was a little apprehensive to try out Grainger. My little guy is only 6 so I was concerned that a school of Grainger's stature might be more focused on working exclusively with high-end goalies. However, after exchanging some messages with Nick and Amanda we decided to give it a try and are we ever glad that we did! So far, the instructors that we have worked with have been fantastic. They provide good structure and manage to strike the elusive balance of ensuring strict focus on technique while also keeping it fun and interactive. In less than a month I have already noticed a significant improvement in my son's balance, technique, and, more importantly, his confidence. But to be perfectly honest, the biggest endorsement for me is the excitement on my son's face when we tell him it's a Grainger Day".To Nick & team

We haven't been going long but my son absolutely loves it and feels that he's learning every single visit and already see a bit of improvement in his game. For a new goalie, and a new player in general, it's the best place to start, hands down.

Goalie training is phenomenal as are the team of coaches. My daughter has learned sooooo much in just a year.
