My mother is getting some of her in-home care from Mavencare, and Victoria, who is in charge of scheduling, has been helping us. I have been very impressed with her work. She has been very efficient, very tolerant of requests for scheduling changes, extremely patient, and very kind and personable. In particular, since this past Saturday when we lost our live-in caregiver, literally from one day to the next, she has saved our bacon" and with a great deal of empathy at a time of extreme stress for me and my son and daughter. While many of the caregivers were quite pleasant and kind, the management team demonstrated an inability to problem solve and at times left me wondering whether a caregiver would even be showing up. My care coordinator was slow to respond and left me questioning her competence on a number of occasions, most notably with regards to scheduling and payment. I would definitely take my business elsewhere in the event I needed a caregiving service in the future and would not recommend Mavencare to anyone.

We’ve been with Mavencare for many years now and have worked with Cindy who has been coordinating care for my dad. She has been amazing and keeps us well informed about changes. The caregivers have been well trained and work hard to ensure needs are met.

When we needed additional personal attention and care for our mom while she was at a residence for more independent seniors, Mavencare provided flexible and professional timely assistance. The individual PSWs were caring and personable. They quickly made our mother feel at ease. Best, as I am out of country, I was able to read daily updates on their mobile phone App. I recommend Mavencare as a great solution to a difficult situation.

I have been dealing with several agencies but my experience with Mavencare is far most the best. Whenever I encounter any issue, all the co-ordinators have been getting back to me and solving my issues within the 24 hr time frame. They always take the time to listen and to get back to me with a favourable response. I can see that they are very compassionate and they put the client needs first (which is very important for me while dealing with any agency).All the regular caregivers attending to my Dad's need are very trustworthy and they go above and beyond by providing a first class service to him.Since we started taking service with Mavencare, my mother is less stressful , being the primary caregiver for her spouse is not easy at all.She have some time to spare for herself while the caregivers are attending to my father's needs.I will definitely refer Mavencare to my friends and relatives and will stay with them as long as I get the great service.

My father has been using Mavencare's services for over a year and we have been extremely happy with exceptional care provided by their PSW's (Mae Esther and Lillibeth). We have built relationships with them and are like family now. They have provided our family with much support that could never be duplicated. Their dedication and hard work is exceptional and with their unique qualities they each have their own method of keeping my father occupied and out of trouble. Working for Mavencare as a PSW has been wonderful. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the scheduling system accomodating. Mavencare has made necessary supports and communication channels easily available to staff, clients and family members, which I find greatly increases effectiveness and cohesiveness of care. The coordinated and organized shifts allow for easy transfer of care from one caregiver to another. Great organization to work for!

I came across Mavencare after a horrendous experience with another agency. Am I ever glad that I found them. They are extremely reliable, provide quality caregivers and are available 24-hours in case of emergencies. My rep's name is Stephanie and she is detail oriented, friendly and very responsible in getting me the best care for my parents. I don't know what I would do without Mavecare on my team.

On short notice Mavencare came to my rescue when I was in dire need. They visited my mother in hospital in the afternoon and a PSW showed up at our home the next day, and for the next eleven weeks. More importantly you can contact your team anytime if you have concerns. We built very close relationships with some of our support workers. Mavencare was there when we I needed them.
