WE THOUGHT WE WERE DRIVING TO FRINDLY MANITOBA LIKE IT SAYS ON THEIR LICENSE PLATES,BUT THE MAN THAT WORKED THERE HAD A BAD ATTITUDE

I wouldn’t have believed it myself giving 5 stars to CBSA ever. But arriving on April 1, 2022 always expecting the worst, was very impressed with our experience. A young lady came out to our car and welcomed us, asked the usual questions, took our passports inside, came out a few minutes later and said we were good to go. We were over our purchases but we had been gone for 5 months so they really don’t make any sense for that length of time but she could have made us pay. Hopefully this doesn’t get her in trouble. We did have our Arrive Can app all filled out but she never asked for it. I’m sure all the info was at her fingertips when she put our passport info in. Nevertheless she was professional and friendly, what we should expect of our public servants!

On date feb 10-2022 border is open for truckers

Border open for truckers but quite a bit of delay but better than waiting at Emerson which is unlikely to open anytime soon.

US Canada Border at Gretna, quite beautiful. Near Gretna Town away from Altona, Winkler and Gordon in south side of Manitoba Canada. Beautifully managed area.

Waiting for over 2 hours to cross northbound, at this pace expecting to be waiting for at least 2 more hours.Edit: Almost 9am now, close but still not across. Here since 530pmWe are moving at the same pace we did when the CBSA strike was happening, it doesn't make sense.

What a great place to cross! Very professional and kind attitude that this border guard had! Thumbs up to you! Would cross again.
