I visited Grace Church's NEW recording studio to record a song for their Christmas service and it was an amazing experience. Soon yo be open to the public! :)

Quaint little church in downtown urban Markham. Great Minister, and fantastic staff. Beautiful upper banquet hall too!

An incredibly inclusive and welcoming church. Pastor Nicola is progressively, fun, and engaging.

No Bibles in the pews. No notes for hymns- only words on TV screens. Voice of pastor heard loud and clear over voices of entire congregation when singing- that says something in itself. I prefer a traditional mass so I did not enjoy the Sunday service here at all. You may prefer a more light hearted service so you may find it less distasteful.

Blessed to have been married in this church. Reverend Nicola was so helpful throughout the process. We needed to move our wedding ceremony from another church and they were so accommodating and welcoming. We highly recommend!

An energetic and friendly Anglican Church that focuses on people and community…In Grace Church, you would find all the formal Anglican spiritual elements in a Christian worship: procession by clergies in Eucharistic vestments, pipe organ and piano hymns, choir singing, scripture readings, prayers from the “Book of Common Prayer”, Holy Communion, plus some welcoming surprises… multimedia videos and contemporary lyrics from Matt Redman (which is also a British heritage anyway). People were friendly and approachable. I remembered at the end, Rev. John A Read was making announcements while holding little children. It was a warm gesture albeit all the formalities in the service. Father John also personally greeted everyone and had invited me to stay for a simple reception with coffee and cookies. I truly enjoyed the vibrant multi-cultural fellowship in Grace Anglican Church where the colour of the people had added much fragrance to my worshipping experience.I hope you will like the brand new blue “welcoming” sign in front of the church. Thank you.

Real hearty and diverse group. I have been here for many gatherings and I am always welcome warmly. A huge Carribean contingent makes singing and eating times more pleasurable. My wife's family attends here and have helped me see the hidden gems in the community. In the last decade they have also had strong and humble clergy.

When I am visiting my family in Markham I worship at Grace Anglican and I have always found it to be a warm and welcoming community of faith. The people are friendly without being overwhelmingly so (we are, after all, Anglicans!) and the incumbent, the Rev. Canon Nicola Skinner is a good preacher. I feel very much at home at Grace.I would suggest to a previous reviewer who prefers a more traditional service that it is helpful to check to see what's on offer beforehand, so that one can find a parish that can meet his spiritual needs. I grew up with the BCP, but much prefer the intimacy and diversity of the BAS liturgies, especially those provided for Holy Eucharist where the emphasis is on the love and grace of God rather than the sinfulness of humankind.A parishioner of the Cathedral of St.John the Evangelist, Winnipeg
