Our boiler/hot water system started leaking. John came in the next day for inspection, identified problems and gave us a quote all within a week. We called 3 different companies and Stevens P&H was the only company who was able to do the job as soon as possible (the old boiler showed the signs of open flames -- so we were very concerned about potential fire damage). He even ordered the combi unit before we paid our deposit so he could replace it as soon as possible. Took John & his partner 2 days to replace the entire unit. Next day, we noticed a leak from one of the pipes and John came in again solving the issue. It's been almost 3 weeks since the replacement and we have no complaints! We got the final invoice and there were no surprises. Really appreciate the company's professionalism & diligence.+ Julie is also fantastic and very efficient. During the replacement, our strata urgently requested the legal document (e.g. worksafeBC and insurance etc). Julie sent us all of the documents within an hour. We HIGHLY recommend and are definitely going back to Stevens Plumbing & Heating for our future projects for sure!

Great Customer Service! Called Thursday morning before the long weekend with a clogged toilet (the only one in our house). They were able to fit me in 1st thing in the morning due to a recent cancellation before doing other jobs over in Vancouver.The plumber was efficient & friendly. Great service from everyone involved. Stevens was great and very reassuring when we called with no heat and no hot water on one of the oldest day in January. He was very quick to update us on what needed to be repaired and helped us repair our boiler.

I called up this company after looking up their reviews. They sent a plumber who was untrained, to fix our toilet. He was making some weird grunting sounds in the toilet while struggling with it (and it scared my wife while she was at home alone the second time). He left without fixing it in the first visit, only to get some parts in the second visit but could not fix it again -- in fact he left it unoperational this time. I only got a call after two months -- so I am not sure what the people were thinking -- that we would not use it for two months? But fortunately we had contractor who came in, made a quick fix and we got it working while the bathrooms were being renovated -- so that's when I realized that the plumber may not even be licensed. I would never in my time again on NorthShore call these people. I wonder how this business gets 13 good reviews and a high rating. Looks like lots of friends and some good PR. I had a chat with John Stevens about him and he still charged for 3 hrs and the parts they ordered. No concession and no courtesy write-off of the amount. They know it was shoddy service but they don't care. I see one more bad review and I completely believe it. The business is going down probably and maybe they plan to retire it.

Amazing! Mike was Sherlock Holmes, and tracked down a tricky problem crippling the water supply in an old house with complex to say the least, plumbing. Friendly, helpful, professional, fun and effective. Versus, another company who's name shall not be mentioned, who were like dealing with Laurel and Hardy, on condescending pills! Glad Stevens was recommended!

Rhys came to my house and replaced my sump pump in 24 hours. He was so responsive and thorough with a can do attitude. I contacted him to give me a second opinion after an extremely bad experience with another company. He exceeded my expectations and I will never go anywhere else on the north shore. Great service!

Stephen's Plumbing has handled multiple plumbing issues for us. They are very easy to book with and always pleasant to work with. We were able to get a technician (on a day's notice) to install a unit in our home. Appreciate that they are reliable- highly recommend.

John was great, came in and fixed up the issue in a timely manner and made some great suggestions for future maintenance. No surprises and the bill was very reasonable. Highly recommend, and will use again!

Our hot water tank burst and Stevens Plumbing came out the very next day to replace it. John is awesome! He found our old tank was not secured properly to the wall and corrected the problem. Also redid the piping from the drain since it was installed incorrectly. Very reasonable and superb service. Highly recommend and would use again.

Our on demand hot water heater broke. It was a big job because we had to replace both hot water heater and heating box with an integrated unit. John helped us. We found him straight forward, honest, hard working, and he has a good sense of humour. Oh, it is so pleasant to deal with Julie, who answers the phone and does everything else that a plumber doesn't do. We highly recommend Stevens Plumbing & Heating and we will definitely use them again.
