Tracy is a wonderful trainer with years of education and knowledge. She continually attends seminars and expands her knowledge base to ensure her clients are getting the best coaching and training for their dogs. Her coaching is clear & concise with a focus on foundations to ensure you and your dog are being setup for success. Classes are clearly structured and have excellent execution. I would 100% recommend Tracy.

Tracy is fabulous! I often feel intimidated by people in the industry that I look up to. Her supportive and easy going approach has never made me feel that way. I admire her for continously expanding her knowledge to better help clients and their dogs.

This class was a blast. Being able to see the owner and dogs change through all the training technics. Tracy took the time with each person and their dog to show and help them build their confidence.

I was very sad when I heard that Tracy was closing the Day School portion of her business, K9 Community Dog Training, due to health issues. Although supportive of her decision I felt much regret. I have a Cockapoo named Frankie who is almost 17 months old. He is smart but exceedingly rambunctious. He could easily be mistaken for the “Energizer Bunny.” His mind is always active and alert. Frankie has been in classes, and/or in Day School with Tracy since he was 3 months old. Throughout this time, he has matured and his knowledge base has grown immensely. Impulse control, due to his energy, is his major downfall, but it is noticeably improving. Tracy has patiently guided and supported him in this endeavor. He loves her immensely; I believe if he could substitute houses, he would happily move in with her. Tracy is kind, compassionate and obviously cares a great deal for ALL the dogs under her care. She is quick to notice when they (or us for that matter) deviate from the prescribed task. Frankie attended Day School twice a week. During this time, Tracy was assisted initially by Iris, and then, Leslie. Both excellent as well. Much of the day was recorded via video and posted online. By means of these videos, it was easy to observe Tracy's confidence, knowledge and skill during her interaction with not only the dogs but with both Iris and Leslie. Such interaction was always performed in a kind and supportive manner. In addition to photographs and videos, we also received a written daily report describing our pet's activities. Frankie's report detailed when he was paying attention, versus when he was easily distracted. The report was full of praise when deserved and outlined behaviors which required more work – much akin to a school report card. I am very pleased that Tracy will contine with her other classes. Dog training is an ongoing process and needs to be reinforced in the pet's home. However, in saying this, Tracy certainly provides one with the tools to do this during her classes. She is, for example, leaving the Day School videos posted to assist us further with this task. I have no hesitation in recommending her as an excellent trainer. I am sad that Day School is closed but happy that Frankie and I will have other opportunities to work with Tracy.

In the past half year I've had the pleasure of getting to know, and work alongside, Tracy, teaching obedience to her dayschool students.Tracys' experience and love for dogs is evident in her practice. She looks at the individual dog in front of her and adjusts her training approach accordingly. She makes decisions and gives her professional opinion based on the best interest of each dog---even if it's a hard truth for owners to hear or means referring to a client to a different trainer. While I appreciate her honesty and directness, she is also very approachable and brings her sense of humor to her classes. If you're looking for a fun and experienced trainer for you and your dog, I would recommend taking Tracy's classes 100%!

This is a tough one for me as the recall class was effective for my dog (without using aversive tools") and Tracy is a fun trainer

Tracy is an exceptional trainer! I have taken countless classes with her from puppy classes, to recall classes, to various obedience classes, to training in day school. I am always impressed with her level of knowledge and her approach. She supports her clients in meeting their individual goals with their dog in a way that is tailored to their needs. She is continuously attending seminars and training opportunities so that she can better serve her clients, and often goes out of her way to provide additional support outside of classes as needed. If she doesn’t know the answer to a problem, she has proven to be determined to find out! I could honestly go on and on. My 1.5 year-old golden retriever, Nellie, is the great dog that she is today largely due to Tracy’s help. I will continue recommending K9 Community Dog Training to everyone I know with a dog or a new puppy!
