I was recommended to Alan by a local mechanic in Markham for exhaust work. Alan is honest and only makes recommendations for repairs that are necessary with no pressure. When I had an exhaust leak, he preserved the original muffler, cut off the damaged pipe, and welded a new piece of metal. Alan clearly identify to customer about services that can hold off, or parts on the vehicle that are still good, to maximize customer's savings. Thank you Alan, and keep up your amazing services!

I had a really disappointing experience with Alan's services for exhaust work. Despite being recommended by a local mechanic , I found Alan to be anything but honest. He claimed to only make necessary recommendations for repairs, but I felt pressured into agreeing to costly repairs that I'm not convinced were actually needed.Alan's poor communication skills and lack of transparency further contributed to my dissatisfaction. Overall, I would caution others against seeking his services and suggest looking for more reliable professionals in the area.

Went to the workshop for a muffler replacement on my Subaru. After agreeing on the price for the repair, the mechanic cut out the damaged parts and replaced them with an assembled exhaust. During the repair, I noticed that the mechanic is not doing the work correctly, but I was reassured by him that the final effect would be good. Unfortunately, after the assembly was completed, the exhaust did not fit and practically touched the ground, which would make normal driving impossible. When asked why he botched it, he replied that there were no spare parts available at the moment. The so called manager of this establishment suggested that I pay now and come at another time for a correction, and when I did not agree to it, I was cursed out by him. I have been their client for many years and I have repaired a lot of cars there, but now, for the terrible workmanship and rudeness in handling, I will never go there again or recommend this facility to anyone. ..

Not a bad shop for all your exhaust needs!I got an X pipe done on an Audi S5. Cost was around $450 with taxes in. Total time took around 1 and a half hours which is quite long considering I had an appointment. Overall Alan is knowledgeable on exhausts for any performance cars, and can give you a suggestion on what to do.They are quite busy and do take some time so keep that in mind.

The best exhaust repair shop in Markham! Look nowhere else. I was referred to Alan by a friend, who is the owner of this shop. He was prompt and managed to secure a slot for me without an appointment to replace both mufflers on my Honda Accord. Pricing with labour is reasonable and service was efficient and fast. Car runs much smoother and is quiet with the new mufflers he installed for me. Highly recommend!

This is the best place to get your exhaust set up. Fast, but meticulous work, and fair pricing. My first point of contact was Emma and she was very nice to work with. They got my car on the lift and listened to how I wanted my set up done, they gave their input and we agreed on a plan to get the whole work done.My set up was from a single exhaust to a dual quad tip exhaust and there was a box panel obstructing the second exhaust, but Alan figured it out and told me about it before removing the panel. Additionally I had a new diffuser I wanted to install and Alan warned me about how my particular aftermarket diffuser did not have a proper clip to hook unto the car, but Alan gave his suggestion which worked out altogether - a very snug fit, no shaking, no rattling. They really do care about what their clients want on their set up and they make sure you leave happy with the job they've done.I've inquired other muffler shops prior to them and the onset conversation with their customer service was always discouraging - they didn't listen to me, they wanted me to do it their way, etc. But Alan and his team prioritized client satisfaction first and what I had in mind, which was surprisingly rare to find amongst other shops.Thank you to Alan and his team for the great service! I'll definitely be coming back to get work done on my other vehicle! I'll definitely refer all friends and family to them :)

The installation process was nothing short of a nightmare. The so-called expert technicians" fumbled through the simplest tasks

The catalytic converter from our Honda Odyssey was stolen. Thieves cut and took. We carefully researched for an exhaust expert and selected L&G Auto.Best decision made! They have us on the road within a couple of hours.Competitive pricing and excellent workmanship. Work required and options were explained to us by Alan patiently and clearly. Our business was valued and I trust their expertise and great reputation completely

Called one month ago to book the appointment. This auto shop did not inform me that they were closed on Saturday and did not try to contact me beforehand. Called 0402 phone number, no one picked the call. This lack of communication is unacceptable, as it not only wastes my time but also shows a lack of professionalism on the part of the auto shop.I had to spend two hours on the way to the auto shop only added insult to injury. Time is a valuable resource, and to waste two hours of it is frustrating, to say the least. Will not recommend this shop to anyone. Wish I can give 0 star...

I went back in for a quote, and they were well overpriced compared to the other 4 shops I called. They were the most expensive, and some of the other shops I called were further away but were much more reputable shops. Almost all 4 of the shops have higher scores on Google, some as high as 4.8. So either this guy at L&G Auto has no idea what he is doing, or he is just good at strong-arming his customers into paying ridiculous rates. I don't know if they are good mechanics but they sure as hell charge premium rates. Sorry but NO, thanks.
