Gavin and Cameron were out to spray foam my shop and porch. Top notch work. Learned a great deal from Gavin about the nuances of spray foaming (not just pull the trigger and fill the void)... there's a great deal more than meets the eye. Have a different appreciation for the great deal of labour involved in prepping, spraying (gave it a whirl myself...not an easy task), and then clean-up. Very pleased with final product... amazing results... filled all the nooks/crannies and will now be able to heat spaces with a candle. Very cost effective in the long run. Gavin, the company owner sets the bar high, with an old school... 'do the job right or not at all'...outlook/attitude. Cameron echoed his bosses work ethic... which will serve him well throughout his new career in the Military (best of luck).HIGHLY recommend this company for their superior work, professionalism, friendliness and work ethic! Gavin was quick to respond to my first query, assessed the task and we agreed to a plan of action. He and his hard-working team arrived on-time and did an exceptional job. Better Homes Insulation Inc., supplied all the materials, equipment and labour required to: apply spray foam insulation to exterior walls, ceiling and rim joists of original cottage area, the Hot Water room, and a workshop as well as removing insulation and laying down a 6mil vapour barrier and seal all edges in the crawl space. When we decided to add insulation to our home we had seen your truck in the area and you were recommended by a neighbor. Gavins estimate was right on, so we booked. They showed up right on time in bad weather and directly covered all the floors before bringing in equipment, then right to work. After a minor machine hiccup, and coffee and a muffin with Gavin and crew the work was completed. The cleanup was spot on with nothing for us to do. Got three quotes to redo the insulation in the attic of our 1970 era home to solve some ice damming on the roof. Gavin and his crew were not the least expensive but were BY FAR the most professional and truly took the time to assess the job and give us a comprehensive analysis of our problems. They did exactly what they said they would do, when they said they would, for the price they said they would do it and with professionalism and care. That is a rare trait in the trades in my experience. In fact when I contacted Gavin because some of the problems I wanted solved initially were not completely solved he came back up and did another assessment and recommended a solution that made sense.
