NOT A Happy Camper ☹️UPDATE April 14, 2023 (original post below)We were finally able to pick up our trailer. The spider crack was repaired, however during the repair our tongue jack was somehow damaged and our propane tank went missing. Carefree replaced the jack at no charge, which is awesome! As for the propane tank, the service manager advised us that paperwork was signed advising customers that they are not responsible for items that may go missing. I did review the paperwork and confirmed that is noted. While they did offer us a used tank (we will opt to get a new one), it's disheartening to have waited all this time and be told they aren't responsible for securing their own storage yard.ORIGINAL POST - I purchased a new Minnie Winnie from the Leduc outlet in 2021 - the service was fantastic and I was really satisfied.My happiness faded when somehow a spider crack occurred on the front of my trailer in the first summer we camped and I took it in to have repairs done in the fall of 2021. Somehow the service department dropped the ball on getting it either repaired or the skin replaced as they promised. I was told numerous times when I called and even went in to inquire in person last winter “we’re waiting on parts” or “everything is set up to go”. When it came time to camp this past summer I was told it was not fixed but it wouldn’t prevent me from using my RV.When we came to pick up the trailer we were told the repairs were not on file!?! The service centre staff was a little accommodating and asked that I re-send the claim details that were previously sent. I did so and we camped in the summer of 2022. We brought the trailer back as instructed for a new appraisal and repair in Sept 2022.Today is November 24 and again I have emailed a number of times to attain updates on the repairs that were supposed to take 2-3 weeks to complete… I have been met with silence.

Bought our very first trailer! Planned on shopping around but no need! We instantly got introduced to Norm as soon as we got there and we were sold! He took the time to show us everything anything we wanted (even ones we knew were out of our price range) just for fun. He was knowledgeable, honest and very personable. Everything went smoothly and we felt our best interest was taken to heart. Absolutely the best experience we have ever had purchasing any type of vehicle! If I could rate a 10 I would! NORM IS THE MAN TO SEE IF YOU NEED AN RV!

Such a great experience.My husband and I took a long time choosing the perfect travel trailer within our weight range, we went to many different sales locations in the Edmonton area and Carefree was the best experience by far.Most places would make us feel completely bombarded the moment we walked in, sales associates hovering over us the entire time, pushy for a sale and calling constantly afterwards.Carefree gave us the space we needed to absorb what we were looking at but was always available when we needed questions answered.Norm did a great job answering our questions or seeking the appropriate professional to have them answered instead of just guessing.All the staff was professional, the manager was very down to earth and even came around everytime we were there to visit.We got everything we needed, everything that we asked was taken care of and they worked around our schedule plus we got the most unique unit I have ever seen in its class from Edmonton to Calgary!Looking forward to our possible business again in the future! Happy to be part of the carefree family!

We just purchased a motorhome from Carefree RV. It was a fantastic experience. Easy, and more than accommodating during every step. No pressure sales, staff was knowledgeable and helpful. The walk thru upon pick up was beyond informative and they left no questions unanswered. Thank you Jay in sales, and Jay in finance for making this a quick, and painless experience. We will definitely recommend this business to our friends and family, and would buy from them again.

We just bought a 2023 Winnebago Vista from Carefree RV. My wife and I have bought many new vehicles in our lives and have had a variety of different experiences with dealerships. There is no question that the team at Carefree RV really care about what they do. They went above and beyond to make our experience really good.The sad news is the disappointing quality of the Winnebago Vista that we bought. Despite the number of sloppy workmanship issues from the factory, Carefree took ownership of the issues and did everything in their power to correct those issues.We are Canadians and arranged a trade of our old coach for the new one online from our winter home in Florida. The sales process was very professional and responsive. The communication was excellent and any questions we had were answered right away.When we arrived to pick up the coach, we discovered some significant problems. We spent two days waiting in their dealership while they pulled technicians off of other jobs to rectify the issues with our coach. They did everything in their power to make us comfortable. They even offered to pay for a hotel. Virtually all the issues were from the factory, but not once did anyone in the dealership suggest that something was not their problem.I would not hesitate to recommend Carefree RV to anyone. They really care about their products and their customers.

I can’t say enough about the 5star service we received from Josh at Carefree Rv, he not only was patient with our very specific requests to find the perfect trailer but he was funny and relatable…enhancing our big purchase experience to a level that I would not hesitate to return for another purchase and recommend to all of our friends. We drove in from Fort Mac and visited at least 10rv dealers the day before and we honestly were about to give up, drive home and keep our current trailer. He listened and we purchased the perfect trailer. Jay the finance guy is also very pleasant and made the deal seamless and “carefree”. We HIGHLY recommend

Jason Sinkler was fantastic and made the whole experience of buying my first camper a dream come true! I was happy to shop around but Jason was really knowledgeable and patient when answering all my questions. In the end I got a camper that has everything I wanted and I can’t wait to take it out on the road very soon! Thank you Jason for making this experience a great one! I bought a used horse trailer and brought it to Carefree RV for a safety inspection. They were able to book it in for bearings, tires and breaks. It took less time than I expected even with having to order in the tires. Matthew was very helpful through the whole process and took extra time to help set up my hitch and explain the surge break system. Trailer feels so much better now. A big thank you to the techs who worked on the trailer, I feel confident it’s safe to haul my horses in now.

Dealing with the sales department and the finance department at Carefree RV has been an enjoyable experience. As I was dealing with them from out of province, they were both very good at giving me the information that I needed and provided me with the unit that I was in search of, Thanks Norm and Jamaiz, I’ll be camping in my perfect trailer this year, thanks to you.
