Lo-Cost Automatic Transmissions

Transmission started having several separate issues over the months, when I talked to ty here & he had confirmed what I thought that that it’s the torque converter & chances are a rebuild. Was told a week at most incase hoists get booked up, had me back on the road in 72 hours which is amazing being a work truck! These guys are amazing, no complaints & will always have my business transmission related!

Just got my transmission and a few other things done here, the guys did a wicked job in like 2 or 3 days, top quality work and top shelf guys, the cost is unbeatable here I couldn't pass it up and I live over an hour away, the entire job plus extras was the cost of just the tyranny at a couple other places I priced out. Ty is an top notch guy,and super knowledgeable in his trade, I would recommend that bunch of guys to my friends, appreciate it buddy! Tc

We’ve been using Josh and his Lo-Cost team as our trusted go-to shop, not just for transmission work, but other mechanical work as well. They’re a great place to get quality work done, or to get an honest diagnosis without the worry of being over charged.

Second time I've used Lo-Cost in general, but first time at this location.Staff has been super helpful and friendly! Pricing was fair for the work done, and it was done in a timely matter.When an issue did come up, they were quick to get my truck back in and got it resolved!

I called Josh at Lo Cost about a transmission issue I was having in my truck. He got me in right away and had a rebuild completed within a couple of days. He also got my father's truck in bright and early one morning for a transmission flush so he could hit the road for a hunting trip. Thanks Josh, will definitely be using and referring this place again!

After an insanely high quote for a transmission replacement at a dealership, I was recommended to try Southside Transmission. They cut the dealerships bill in more than half, saving me 6K. They also worked hand in hand with my warranty company to make sure I paid as little out of my pocket as possible. They fixed my vehicle and had me back driving in the matter of two days. Amazing service, great staff, super fast and so appreciated. I hope to never have to need a service like this again, but if I do, I’ll be coming here. I highly recommend this shop!

Highly recommend this shop, fast, help over the phone/text almost instant. Fair priced, my go to transmission place for life. Runs a good show that Josh guy.

about a month ago I took my jeep in to get the clutch replaced, after reading the reviews I thought it was going to go all smoothly. But I found out that I was going to get the opposite. After receiving my jeep back from this shop from the clutch job, I took it straight to the car wash, noticing a huge impact fracture on the top corner of my hardtop roof. I Instantly texted Josh from the shop asking him what it was about, and he acted all surprised and said he'd check with the guys in the shop the next day to see what had happened and that he'd let me know. I suggested that maybe the mechanic had lifted the vehicle too high up on the lift, causing damage to the roof. about 8 weeks later now I am still left here with my damaged vehicle. Left ignored by Josh and the shop. Didn't even bother checking the cameras to see what happened, I didn't even get a text back. I will not return here for any services. I strongly recommend staying away from this shop. Terrible customer service, no customer satisfaction here. Probably going to be a $1000 fix for me right out of pocket, and the shop can't even own up to the damage they have caused. Not much I can do about it at this point, except share my experience I had with them, I hope this saves few customers from getting ripped off. Do not go here unless you want your vehicle to come back with body damage!!
